Billy Reid (born June 13, 1964) is a designer based in Florence, Alabama. His brand is self-described as “lived-in luxury”.

Attended Southern Louisiana University and also the Art Institute of Dallas (Fashion Design).

He has obvious passion for his brand. When he originally started it in 1998 (William Reidmenswear) he didn’t have enough money to pay rent somewhere as well. So he slept in the garment center.

2001 CFDA awarded him with the the Perry Ellis Award for best emerging menswear designer.

He is known for its classic styles in high quality fabrics with unusual accents and Southern influence.

Online presence is seamless to instore. Bringing in earth tones to keep things rustic and authentic the Billy Reid brand is doing everything right.

Social media is starting to get a lot better. They used to only post about product, but the public was a bit bored with that.

Starting in 2009, Shindig is an event that happens every year. Bringing the Billy name together with live music and food. It’s the event of the year.

SXSW is a festival organization that puts together some amazing venues for the Shindig every year.

Notable friends of Billy perform to a crowd that are there for a truly memorable experience. There is also a fashion show of the latest connection to see as well.

Whats really amazing about this annual event is that it gives the brand a deeper connection to its customers. Giving them something beautiful and fun in exchange for loyalty.
