Jury Eder Castillo / Mexico, 1977 A self-taught artist who has created art proposals that take up public space by combining the use of new technologies and social dynamics, at the confluence of architecture, artistic research, and anthropology. He has developed exhibitions, conferences, and interventions; participated in various exhibitions and art festivals; worked and collaborated on various platforms, from cultural manager, curator, and juror to teacher. His work has been shown in Mexico and other countries like Japan, South Africa, Indonesia, Sweden, Spain, Slovenia, Poland, Brazil, Honduras, El Salvador, and Costa Rica, among others. He was beneficiary of the Young Artists Program FONCA-CONACULTA 2010-2011, the Support Program to Art Production and Electronic Means of the Multimedia Centre in Mexico, and the Best Art Practices International award for young curators First edition, under the curatorship of LC060 with the program: “BORDER, AN OUTLINE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SOCIETY OF THE FUTURE” with the “GUATEMEX” project. He lives and works in Mexico City. José-Carlos Mariátegui / Peru, 1975 Scientist and theorist in new media. He studied Biology and Applied Mathematics at the Cayetano Heredia University (Lima) and obtained a Master in Information Systems at the London School of Economics - LSE (London), where he currently is a Ph.D. candidate and researches the growth of information in the media industry (www.tigair.info). Founder of Alta Tecnología Andina - ATA (www.ata.org.pe) devoted to the development of projects in art, science, and technology in Latin America and Escuelab (www.escuelab.org). He was also senior advisor to the newly created Ministry of Culture of Peru. He lives in Lima and London. María José Monge / Costa Rica, 1977 MSc in Anthropology and a BA in Art History. She serves as an advisor in the Ministry of Culture and Youth of Costa Rica. Independent consultant in arts and culture. For several years, she worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC) in Costa Rica, a platform from which she participated in the design and production of various projects aimed at stimulating, promoting, and spreading contemporary visual arts in Central America.
