An episodic and comical show about the reality of early adulthood and the small, daily mistakes each and every one of us fail to admit we make.

Join Mishap Theatre as they delve into people's real stories of life in their 20s. Experience these testimonies as they explore 21st Century dating, drinking culture, adulting and society's expectations through a series of episodic sequences.

Throughout the show Mishap Theatre aims to expose the humour in the ordinary and invites you to consider your everyday life in a light-hearted, playful way. Twenty Something is driven by a soundtrack of jazz and discordant soundscapes. Mishap Theatre uses clowning, physical movement and comedy to show that the mistakes we attempt to hide are what make us human.

Mishap Theatre was founded in 2021 by co-artistic directors Caley Starbuck and Hannah Peacock. They met studying Drama and Theatre at the University of Lincoln. As a company Mishap Theatre focuses on humour in the ordinary and is influenced by the work of Jac LeCoq, John Wright and RashDash Theatre.

Mishap Theatre is the supported alumni company for Lincoln Company 2022/2023.
