Hi Chamber Members,

309.837.4855

SHAY@MACOMBAREACHAMBER.COM

It’s officially Spring! Since I run cold as a person, you will still see me bundled up in sweaters and scarves, but the rest of you are hopefully basking in the sunshine and ready to greet this time of renewal and growth, both personally and professionally.

Our Chamber office is blessed to be busy, so we have been hard at work over “Spring Break.” We recently rolled out the new 2024 Macomb Area Community Guide & Business Directory, which is 68 pages of all the business, recreational, education, medical, and event content you need to get a feel for what our office does and what our region is all about! You can find 5,000 copies in our office, at local hotels, the train station, medical facilities, city hall, and even a digital version on our website at www.macombareachamber.com.

We have some very exciting events coming up; including Business After/Before Hours, ribbon cuttings, Legislative Day, and our Annual Golf Outing, just to name a few. This often requires a lot of planning and participation to ensure that these events are as successful as possible for you and your business. Please watch your email and social media for updates.

We are committed to serving and advocating for our region, and that often means in order to meet member needs, we need to be out in the community in which you all live, work, and study. We try to plan these visits around regular business hours, but may have opportunities within the Chamber industry that take us out of the office for a bit. We are a small, but mighty crew of two and we welcome you to always call, email, or message us during regular business hours so we can ensure that we are available to help you as effectively and efficiently as possible.

ontact me any time. No idea is too small and no question is too weird. Let’s help you find the information and resources you need to be your best business self.

Let’s make it a great month!

What are Chamber Gift Certificates?

The Chamber Gift Certificate Program has been in existence since the mid 1980's. We sell Gift Certificates and they can be redeemed at participating member businesses. We sell nearly $200,000 worth of certificates every year, meaning all of that money stays in our region!

Who accepts Chamber Gift Certificates?

Only Chamber members who opt in to the Chamber Gift Certificate Program can accept certificates. Any Chamber member can opt in at any time. To be added to the list of 140+ area locations, contact our office and we’ll get you on the list.

How can I help promote the Chamber Gift Certificate Program?

We love when our members and the community help keep it local by promoting the Chamber Gift Certificate Program:

Buy them for your employees, family, friends, teachers, etc.: Chamber Gift Certificates are a win-win since Chamber gift certificates never expire, can be purchased in any amount, and you are keeping that money right here in the Macomb area. Tell people about them. Friends and family are always looking for gift suggestions, so why not chime in with the perfect idea?
