Details of Your Day
At the Mackey House we are pride ourselves on providing enough details for each booking to ensure that all couples are set up for a magical wedding day. From the time you book to the end of your big day, you will be given quality service and all of the guidance and direction from our experienced staff. There will be ample meeting times to bring comfort and ease to your planning, a diagram of your layout created for your vision, a scheduled rehearsal time to run through the ceremony, as well as a 2 hour engagement photo location to give your guests a sneak peak of the grounds.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Client Checklist
Now that you have reserved the venue of your dreams, one of our team members will be in contact soon.
The following is a list we need for this process to go seamlessly.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING
o Schedule your kickstart session. Shortly after booking, a team member will reach out to schedule a kickstart call with our Client Services Manager and an intro call with our Entertainment Director. They will assist you with vendor selections and answer any questions you or your vendors may have.
o Make a list of any questions you may have regarding Mackey House policy to discuss with your client manager.
o Begin to reach out to each of our 4 approved caterers to discuss menu selections and schedule tastings.
MIDPOINT
o 6 months prior or midpoint to your event , reach out to your client services manager and planner to schedule a meeting to discuss any updates on vendor selections, contract amendments, layout and design plans. This can be done in-person or by phone. This would also be a great time to schedule a planning session with our Entertainment Director if you are contracted to use his services.
o Schedule a Walk-Thru, this can be done the same day as your midpoint meeting
30 DAY REVIEW
o 30 days prior to your event schedule a meeting to confirm your final guest count
o Discuss and finalize event details, layouts, timeline and invoice.
o Final Balance is due

Now that you have booked, you will be contacted by a member of our staff to set up your meetings from the venue timeline. Keeping these appointments will help your planning to stay on track and prevent you from forgetting important details
Please ensure that your payments are made on time to verify that your day is secured. You can reach out to our accounting office to make payments.
