Bringing our 2026 CAPSPhase material to life
We had the pleasure of connecting with booksellers across Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, followed by a virtual session, to introduce our new Foundation Phase materials. What stood out across all four engagements was the sense of shared purpose. These weren’t just product presentations — they were conversations. Conversations about classrooms, about what teachers need, and about how we can better support learning from the ground up. As we unpacked the range, it became clear that this is more than a refresh. While still firmly aligned to CAPS, the materials have been developed with today’s realities in mind — with a strong focus on literacy, inclusion, and building the kind of skills learners need to succeed beyond the classroom.

Approved Foundation for our Booksellers
A big part of the experience was allowing booksellers to engage with the materials in a practical way. Seeing the full solution come together helped shift the conversation from simply understanding the product to confidently taking it into schools. There was also space to celebrate. At each of the in-person events, we gave away a coffee machine to one lucky attendee.
Alongside the product, we also reinforced the support available to booksellers — from marketing tools to the Bookseller Hub — ensuring they feel equipped not just with great content, but with everything they need to take it to market. Ultimately, these events reminded us that strong products are only one part of the story. It’s the partnerships behind them that bring real impact. And as these Foundation Phase materials make their way into classrooms, that shared commitment will be what drives their success.
