Theprogram,nowenteringits22ndyear, recognizesthecontributionsofmilitaryfamiliestothereadinessofthefightingforceandcelebratesthecommissary’sroleinenhancingmilitaryqualityoflife. It’s administeredby FisherHouse Foundation,anonprofitorganization dedicatedtohelpingservicemembers, veteransandtheirfamilies.Thus far, theprogramhas awardedmorethan$21millionto12,312students, selectedfromapoolofnearly109,000applicants.
