Passengers 2 and older traveling to U.S. required to present negative COVID-19 test results

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill.—In accordance with Center for Disease Control and Prevention travel guidance, all passengers 2 years and older traveling through Air Mobility Command terminals are required to present a negative COVID-19 viral test result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the last 90 days prior to boarding a flight to the United States from a foreign country.

Test results or proof of recovery need to be in written or digital format and signed by a licensed healthcare provider. Test results must state the type of test, entity issuing the result, date administered, information identifying the passenger, and test result.

Fully vaccinated passengers two years and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result administered no more than three days prior to departure to the U.S.

Not fully vaccinated passengers two years and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result administered no more than one day prior to departure to the U.S.

Not fully vaccinated passengers between 2-17 years of age may travel with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian with a test completed within three days of travel. Additionally, if the parent or guardian of travelers between 2-17 years of age is not fully vaccinated, the minor’s negative test result must also be dated within one day of travel.

As the COVID-19 situation and documentation requirements continue to change, it is recommended that passengers closely monitor CDC travel guidance.

All passengers must review the Electronic Foreign Clearance Guide or contact their Aerial Port of Embarkation prior to travel to the U.S. from a foreign country for assistance in understanding requirements and locating nearby testing sites.
