Youth Center holiday

Calling all teens ages 13-18. Register by Dec. 3 to join us as we take a trip to Curtis Hixon Park Dec. 17 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. for ice skating, hot cocoa and more holiday fun. The price is $20 per child. Must register by Dec. 3 by calling the youth center at 8287958.

Trees for Troops Dec. 9

Free fresh-cut trees for active duty military, their families and those with base access. Across the street from Bay Palms Golf Clubhouse. 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. for active duty and their families; 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for all others with base access. Visit macdillfss.com for more information.

Operation Thanksgiving!

Airmen assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing pose with members of the Del Webb Lakewood Ranch Association of Veterans and Military Supporters and base commissary employees during the annual Operation Thanksgiving giveaway at MacDill Air Force Base Nov. 17. Operation Thanksgiving supported 283 military families by donating over 4,000 pounds of turkey and $14,150 worth of commissary gift cards, each with a personalized note from a donor.
