El engranaje de la vida Playground es el encuentro de dos artistas de dos generaciones, una forma de abordar el arte, la tecnología, la vida cotidiana y las relaciones sociales.

En Playground nos encontramos con un elemento fundamental que es el disfrute, el disfrute de todo aquello que nos permite reencontrarnos como seres humanos, en cierta manera de volver a ser niños y descubrir de manera sencilla todo lo que nos ofrece la tecnología de hoy.

También en Playground compartimos, aprendemos del otro, nos adentramos en su mundo y tratamos de hacer los enlaces, las conexiones propias para entrar en el juego, para sentirnos incluidos y a la vez ser incluyentes.

Los juegos son de todo tipo: juegos con imágenes, juegos con palabras, juegos con situaciones, juegos con conceptos, juegos con color, juegos con ideas, juegos con sensibilidad, en fin reafirmamos que el juego es una de las cualidades más humanas, que nos acerca y nos integra rompiendo las barreras sociales, étnicas, culturales, religiosas y políticas.

Al abordar lo que hoy llamamos “tecnología” en la propuesta de Playground, se relaciona más con sus usos sociales y las múltiples interrelaciones que se pueden establecer entre los individuos con especial interés en su deseo de comunicar y dejarse permear por el otro y lo que sucede en su entorno.

Es cierto que las distancias se han acortado, que las fronteras se han desdibujado, que cada vez es más fácil acceder a la información, pero también nuestro compromiso y acción deben ir más allá de un “like”, un “emoticon” o un creciente número de seguidores; debemos ser protagonistas de un cambio real desde nuestro entorno como partes integrales del gran engranaje de la vida.

Para el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Bogotá en sus 50 años, es muy placentero contar con la presencia de estos dos artistas, Raúl Marroquín y Klaus Fruchtnis, ellos han establecido en el museo su Playground y esperan que todos nosotros participemos activamente del juego que nos proponen, este juego que es la vida misma.

Gear GEARofOF life LIFE Playground is the meeting of two artists from two generations, while addressing a form of art, technology, daily life and social relations.

In Playground we find a fundamental element that is enjoyment, enjoyment of everything that allows us to meet again as human beings and in some way to become children again and easily discover all that technology offers us today.

Playground also share, learn from the other, we enter their world and try to make the links, their own connections to enter the game, to feel included and at the same time be inclusive.

The games are of all kinds: games with pictures, word games, games with situations, concept games, games with color, play with ideas, sensitively games, finally reaffirm that the game is one of the most human qualities, which and it integrates us about us breaking social, ethnic, cultural, religious and political barriers.

In addressing what we now call “technology” in the proposal Playground, relates more to its social uses multiple relationships that can be established among individuals with a special interest in their desire to communicate and be permeating the other and what it happens in their environment.

It is true that the distances have been shortened, the boundaries have become blurred, it’s becoming easier access to information, but also our commitment and action must go beyond a “like” an “emoticon” or a growing number of followers; we must be protagonists of a real change from our environment as integral parts of large gear of life.

For Contemporary Art Museum of Bogotá in its 50 years, it is very pleasant to have the presence of these two artists, Raúl Marroquín and Klaus Fruchtnis, they have set up in the museum their Playground and hope that all of us participate actively in the game that they propose, this game is the life itself.

1978

Artista colombo-francés, estudió Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Los Andes y continuó su educación en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Bellas Artes de París y de Rennes. Obtuvo su maestría en investigación en Arte & Nuevos Medios de la Universidad de la Sorbona París I. Hizo parte del grupo de investigadores del programa EnsadLab de la Escuela Nacional Superior de Artes Decorativas de París. Su obra, en clave tecnológica, social y de crítica institucional, incluye soportes que van del dibujo y la fotografía a la instalación, los proyectos online, los talleres, la performance, la intervención pública y editorial.

Klaus ha desarrollado proyectos en la Saatchi Gallery, Londres; Centre Georges Pompidou, París; Fabbrica del Vapore, Milán; Proekt Fabrika, Moscú; Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín; Art to Art Gallery y The Picture Gallery, Bangkok; La Criée Centre d’Art Contemporain, Rennes; el Espace Joseph Kessel, Villepinte, o La Friche Kodak, Sevran.

Ha participado en eventos como Cross Urban Itinérant, París; Art On Site, Sydney; Nuit Blanche, Montreal y Bogotá; Bienal de Fotografía de Lima o el Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, y en ferias como Art Basel Miami, ArtBO Bogotá o Muestra México. Klaus es el director del Departamento de Fotografía de la Paris College of Art. Su última agenda académica “LowTechLabLondon” fue presentada en Saatchi Gallery el pasado 15-17 de enero del 2016. Ambos artistas, Klaus y Raúl, se enfocan en el lenguaje y las bajas tecnologías para el desarrollo de sus obras.

French-Colombian artist, he studied fine arts at the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and continued his education at the École Nationale Supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris and Rennes (France). He earned a Master of Design Technology, Fine Arts & New Media from the Sorbonne University. Klaus was also a member of the EnsadLab Research Program at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. His work encompasses technological approach, social engagement and institutional critique; it includes new media, ranging from drawing and photography to installations, online projects, workshops, and performance, public and editorial interventions.

Klaus has devlopped projects at the Saatchy Gallery, London; Centre Georges Pompidous, Paris; Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan; Proekt Fabrika, Moscow; Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín; Art to Art Gallery y The Picture Gallery, Bangkok; La Criée Centre d’Art Contemporain, Rennes; the Espace Joseph Kessel, Villepinte, and La Friche Kodak, Sevran, among others. He has participated in events such as Cross Urban Itinérant, Paris; Art On Site, Sydney; Nuit Blanche, Montreal and Bogotá; the Fist Bienal of Photography of Lima and the Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, and artfairs like Art Basel Miami, ArtBO Bogotá or Muestra México. Klaus is currently the chair of photograpohy at Paris College of Art. His latest academic project “LowTechLabLondon” was presented at the Saatchi Gallery on Januray 2016. Both artists, Klaus and Raúl, focus on the language of low technology to develop their own reserach.

Raúl Marroquín 1948 Artista colombo-neerlandés, reside en los Países Bajos desde 1971. Estudió en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional Bogotá (Colombia) y en la Jan van Eijck Akademie Maastrcht (Países Bajos). Artista multimedial que ha trabajando con video desde 1968, considerado uno de los pioneros del videoarte en Europa, su obra hace parte de un gran número de colecciones públicas y privada entre otras: Stedelijk Museum Ámsterdam, Centre Pompidou París, Museo Reina Sofía Madrid, Moderna Museet Estocolmo, Museum of Modern Art Nueva York, Coleccion Saatchi Londres, Ludwig Collection Germany, Bonnefanten Museum Maastricht. Su trabajo ha sido presentado en Museos en Europa, Las Américas, Japón, China, etc. ICA Londres, ICC Amberes, Neue Galerie Aquisgran / Colonia, Chicago Art Institute.

Durante sus años de postgrado en la Jan van Eijck Akademie in Maastricht 1971 - 1974 Marroquín publicó Fandangos una de las primeras revistas de artista en el continente europeo.

El telecable ha jugado un papel muy importante en el desarrollo de la obra de Raúl Marroquín, sus primeros experimentos se llevaron a cabo en 1976 con el LOB la primera red de telecable en Europa en uno de los suburbios de Ámsterdam, desde entonces ha participado en la creación de 3 programas de telecable para Salto Amsterdam: Black Hole Television (Televisión Agujero Negro) 1988 - 1990, Time Based Television 1988 - 1990.

DTTV 1990. Con el actor director escénico Titus Muizelaar y Marroquín fundaron De Hoeksteen Live! T.V. un programa político, económico y cultural transmitido en directo para Ámsterdam área metropolitana 1990 - 2014.

Colombo-Dutch artist, resides in the Netherlands since 1971. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of the National University Bogota (Colombia) and Jan van Eijck Akademie Maastrcht (Netherlands). Multimedia artist working with video since 1968, considered one of the pioneers of video art in Europe, his work is part of a large number of public and private collections including: Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Centre Pompidou Paris, Museo Reina Sofía Madrid, Moderna Museet Stockholm , Museum of Modern Art New York, Saatchi Collection London, Ludwig Collection Germany, Bonnefanten Museum Maastricht. His work has been featured in museums in Europe, the Americas, Japan, China, etc. ICA London, ICC Antwerp, Neue Galerie Aachen / Cologne, Chicago Art Institute.

During his graduate years at the Jan van Eijck Akademie in Maastricht 1971 - 1974 Marroquín published Fandangos one of the first artist magazines in Europe.

The cableTV has played a major role in the development of the work of Raúl Marroquín, his first experiments were conducted in 1976 with the LOB the first network cableTV in Europe in one of the suburbs of Amsterdam, has since participated in the creation of 3 CableTV programs for Salto Amsterdam: Black Hole Television 19881990, Time Based Television 1988 - 1990. PLAYGROUND La cosmovisión en un campo de juego es la interpretación de las vivencias e imaginarios de quienes participan en él. En este terreno, se podrían establecer escenas de intercambio multicultural, de vivencias sociales, de relaciones conscientes con el espacio urbano, con ciudades imaginarias o con la re-significación de textos e íconos.

The worldview in a playground is the interpretation of experiences and the imagination of those who participate in it. In this field, one could establish scenes of multicultural exchange, social experiences, and conscious relationships with the urban space, through imaginary cities or the redefinition of text and icons.

Es así como en “Playground”, Klaus Fruchtnis, nos invita a indagar sobre las dinámicas de interacción con las comunidades que participan en la invención de sus obras; ya sea con un espectador, otro artista o elementos efímeros como el inagotable viento, sus reglas del juego son el uso de la tecnología, de los dispositivos digitales y la extensión de sus procesos creativos hacia el público.

Thus in “Playground”, Klaus Fruchtnis invites us to investigate the dynamics of interaction of the communities involved in the creative process of his work; either collaborating with the audience, another artist or ephemeral elements like the endless wind. The rules of the game are the use of technology, digital devices and the extension of his creative processes towards the public.

El artista postula que la supremacía de la imagen es en sí mismo el acto de su realización. Al permitirse interactuar, ha definido una composición donde fluyen intuitivamente situaciones, palabras y significados que van marcando la estética en sus obras. Ha profundizado sobre el píxel, a veces resaltándolo, a veces alterándolo; como un impresionista en busca ansiosa de la luz va creando imágenes en tiempo real o interviene las compartidas; genera la sensación de un eterno cadáver exquisito a partir de lo vertiginoso de las nuevas formas de escritura tecnológicas; y con la lógica del dadaísmo, los tonos cotidianos los torna en poéticos.

El cuerpo de obra de la exposición reúne fotografía, vídeo e instalaciones acerca del cuestionamiento del artista, desde finales del s.XX, sobre los efectos del uso diario de la tecnología en el arte, y que a su vez consolidó en los procesos artísticos que vivió en ciudades como Tokyo, Milán, Sidney, Moscú, Bangkok, París, entre otros.

The artist argues that the supremacy of the image is the act itself of the creation. By allowing interaction, Klaus has defined a composition in which intuitively it flows situations, words and meanings that define the aesthetics of his work.

He has deepened over the pixel, sometimes highlighting it, sometimes altering it; as an impressionist in eager search of light creating images in real time or the existing ones. Klaus generates the feeling of an eternal exquisite corpse from the giddy new technological forms of writing, and the logic of Dadaism, everyday tones become poetic.

The body of work of the exhibition includes photography, video and installations with questions that the artist has addressed since the late twentieth century. He thinks over the daily use of technology in art, reflections that he has consolidated during his artistic processes in projects developed in cities like Tokyo, Milan, Sydney, Moscow, Bangkok, or Paris.

Juego contínuo: la experimentación como práctica artística La obra de Raúl Marroquín, se desarrolla entre el video arte, el performance y los medios de comunicación. Sin que haya un orden cronológico dominante entre los distintos medios y soportes empleados a lo largo de su trayectoria, sí existe un diálogo constante entre la necesidad obsesiva de experimentar con las novedades tecnológicas en medios de comunicación, tanto de masas como inter-personales (televisión, video o telecomunicaciones e internet), y el buscar su representación sobre un soporte que, en los comienzos, fue la pintura y que en los últimos años se ha decantado más por el dibujo o la escultura. Enfrentarse a una retrospectiva de Raúl Marroquín nos plantea el reto de situar su trabajo en un contexto histórico que, si bien nace en Colombia, se desarrolla y alimenta del contexto europeo, específicamente holandés, en un momento (los años 70) en el que reinaba la tolerancia a la experimentación, la apertura a los nuevos medios y formatos, y ciudades como Ámsterdam, La Haya o Maastricht, eran escenario de la llegada de artistas extranjeros a un sistema generoso de apoyos a las artes y sus escuelas. Dichos artistas permanecerán lo suficiente y tendrán el fuerte ímpetu de dejar una huella experimental e imborrable en un contexto artístico regado de internacionalidad.

Europa y Estados Unidos estaban ya en pleno apogeo de esta toma de riesgos conceptuales y experimentales cuando en 1971 Marroquín, licenciado por la Universidad Nacional de Bogotá, deja su ciudad natal para realizar una maestría en la Academia Jan van Eijk (Maastricht, Países Bajos) radicándose después, y hasta la fecha, en la ciudad de Ámsterdam. Antes de partir, Marroquín ya estaba, con toda seguridad, contagiado por el clima de rebelión que reinaba en las artes plásticas en Colombia, donde ciertas acciones, que mostraban una actitud radical en contra de una tradición artística que permeaba el sistema oficial, se entendían como las primeras performances y ya habían captado la atención de las nuevas generaciones de artistas.

Una vez prendido este interés por lo nuevo, este interés sin retorno, nos encontramos a Marroquín en ciudades como Ámsterdam o Nueva York, ciudades en las que trabaja en sus primeros años de trayectoria artística, donde la huella de artistas como Joseph Beuys u On Kawara, o del movimiento Fluxus, ya habían trazado grandes surcos de innovación a los que la tradición artística occidental ya no podía escapar.

En esta trayectoria, desde los años 60, el pionero Raúl Marroquín ha trabajado tanto con objetos encontrados e intervenidos como con tecnologías de bajo costo, como el video industrial y la televisión por cable. Desde los comienzos de la era digital y la aparición de los medios móviles, el artista ha adoptado también las tecnologías de usuario como herramientas de creación, haciendo de la estética de baja definición “low-res” un estilo propio. Partiendo de algo tan característico del video arte de los años 60 como la captura de la cotidianeidad, cuya apropiación por parte del arte de los nuevos medios servía de crítica a los medios de masas como la televisión, Marroquín interpreta el mundo que le rodea a través de la captura y fabricación de representaciones de la realidad. Quizá porque la comunicación está en el corazón de la obra del artista, y por eso nunca cortó lazos, ni canales de información con su país de origen, ni se quedó aislado en Holanda, Marroquín es un artista universal cuya producción artística puede entenderse como obra de arte total, que emerge y se nutre del auge del arte conceptual internacional en los años 60 y que amparó una experimentación constante con todo tipo de formatos y técnicas arriesgadas, experimentación que sigue siendo el día a día del artista hasta la fecha.

Game on: experimentation as artistic practice Raúl Marroquín’s work has mostly developed shifting from video art, to performance and communication media. Throughout his trajectory, there is no dominating chronology, which sets an order in the use of the different media and techniques.

There is however a constant dialogue between an obsessive need to experiment with technological novelties surrounding communication media, both mass as well as interpersonal media (television, video or telecommunications and the Internet), and the search of forms to visually represent these media on a support.

Originally this happened on canvas but Marroquín has also used drawing and sculpture as a means of representing his mediated reality. Facing a retrospective exhibition by Raúl Marroquín presents a challenge: to place his work in a historical context which, even though is originated in Colombia, it unfolds itself and gets nurtured by the European context, specifically the Dutch context, in a moment (the 70s) in which the tolerance and openness towards experimentation, new media formats, reigned. This situation went on in cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague or Maastricht which where the scenery of the arrival of foreign artists to a generous system of financial support to the arts and their schools. These artists will stay around long enough and will have a strong will to leave an experimental and indelible mark in a context rich in internationality.

Europe and The United States were living the heydays of conceptual and experimental risks when in 1971 Marroquín, who graduated from the National University in Bogota, leaves his hometown in order to study a Masters at the Jan van Eijk (Maastricht, The Netherlands).

Soon after he settled and stayed up to today in Amsterdam. Before he left, Marroquín was already under the influence of the rebellious climate that was spreading through the arts in Colombia, where

certain actions, -which revealed a radical attitude against an artistic tradition that permeated the official system,- where understood as the first performances.

These actions had already caught the attention of a new generation of artists. Once Marroquín got this interest for the new, this interest there was no scape or turning around from, we find Marroquín in cities such as Amsterdam or New York where he works during the first years of his career as an artist. The imprint of artists such as Joseph Beuys, On Kawara or Fluxsus had dug huge grooves of innovation from which the artistic western tradition could not scape. Throughout his trajectory, from the 60s on, pioneer artists Raúl Marroquín has worked with found and intervened objects as well as with low cost technology, industrial video and cable TV. Since the beginnings of the digital era and the appearance of mobile media, the artist has also adopted user technology as a tool for developing his work where low-res aesthetics becomes his own style.

Departing from something so characteristic of 60s video art as the capture of daily life, which new media art appropriated in order to criticize mass media as the television, Marroquín interprets the world that surrounds him through the capture and fabrication of representations of reality. Perhaps because communications lies at the very heart of Marroquín’s work, reason why ha has neither cut his ties or communication channels loose with his country of origin, nor stayed isolated in The Netherlands, Marroquín is a universal artist whose artistic production can be understood as “Gesamtkunstwerk”, which emerges and feeds from the zenith of international conceptual art of the 60s. This transnational current harbored constant experimentation with all kinds of formats and risky techniques. The roots of experimentation still fill his work up until the present day.

Sintiendo los cambios Durante los momentos más difíciles, los artistas siempre juegan un papel importante debido a que perciben los cambios que se producen de una manera especial. Esta es la piedra angular de las reflexiones concebidas hace 52 años por el teórico de los medios Marshall McLuhan en su libro “Comprender los medios de comunicación: las extensiones del ser humano”; este profesor canadiese destacó que cuando una nueva herramienta se introduce en la vida de las personas, se necesita una cierta cantidad de tiempo para ser absorbida por los mismos fisicamente.

La predisposición peculiar de los artistas a ser impresionados por estas dinámicas han sido cruciales para sus propias investigaciones.

En cuanto a la historia del arte, no es sorprendente encontrar que muchos artistas relevantes que utilizan las nuevas herramientas para los proyectos artísticos, a menudo influyen en el desarrollo tecnológico en sí.

En este sentido, la exposición PLAYGROUND es la continuación de este diálogo; que muestra cómo dos artistas que pertenecen a diferentes

generaciones reflexionan sobre lo que han sido las cuestiones más apremiantes de sus tiempos. Esto no es una mera colección de la historia de New Media Art, sino una brillante oportunidad para observar la forma en que las diferentes sensibilidades artísticas se apropiaron, elaboraron y a veces anticiparon los cambios sociales ocultos debajo de la introducción de la nuevas, o presuntas como tal, herramientas tecnológicas.

Las investigaciones de Raúl Marroquín no deben ser vistas simplemente como recordatorio de lo que hemos experimentado con las primeras cámaras portátiles y lo que las conexiones a Internet han introducido en nuestras vidas; las obras de Klaus Fruchtnis no sólo están interrogando nuestro mundo hiperconectado de Internet con las redes sociales, Web 3.0 y lo postdigital. Las dos, son parte del continuo diálogo entre los artistas y la sociedad que atraviesa el tiempo y los lugares desde entonces y que piden a cada uno de nosotros tomar parte en ella.

Feeling the changes During the most challenging times, artists always play an important role because they perceive the changes taking place in a special way. This is the cornerstone of the reflections conceived 52 years ago by media theorist Marshall McLuhan in “Understanding New Media: The Extensions of Man”; the Canadese professor stressed this assumption writing that when a new tool is introduced in the lives of people, it takes a certain amount of time to be psychically absorbed by them.

The peculiar predisposition of artists to be impressed by these dynamics have been crucial for their own investigations. Looking at art history, it’s not surprising to find many relevant artists reflecting on what it means to use a new tool for artistic purposes, often influencing the technological development itself. In this sense, PLAYGROUND exhibition is the continuation of this dialogue; it shows how two artists who belong to different generations are reflecting on what have been the most compelling questions of their times.

This is not a mere collection of the history of New Media Art, but a vivid opportunity to observe the way in which different artistic sensibilities grasped, elaborated and sometimes anticipated the social changes hidden beneath the introduction of new (or, presumed as such) tools. The researches by Raúl Marroquín are not to be seen just as reminders of what we experienced when first portable cameras and Internet connections have been introduced in our lives; the works by Klaus Fruchtnis are not just interrogating our hyper-connected-social-3.0-postdigital Web world.

They’re both parts of the ongoing dialogue between artists and society which crosses time and places since ever and that ask to everyone of us to take part in it.

Laboratorio creativo PLAYGROUND La panadería, el Transmilenio, las flores de los vecinos y el espacio escultórico del MAC, entre otros espacios cotidianos del Barrio Minuto de Dios , territorio en el que está ubicado el museo, fueron el escenario de inspiración donde los artistas Klaus Fruchtnis y Raúl Marroquín interactuaron con los públicos que se inscribieron al “Taller creativo PLAYGROUND”, que tuvo como objetivo realizar una obra colectiva entre los participantes y artistas a partir de la exploración del espacio urbano.

El taller se inició con un recorrido por la exposición, en el que los públicos tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer los cuestionamientos, anécdotas y reflexiones que conforman las obras, junto con las técnicas artísticas en las que se involucran la tecnología de usuario. Luego de la visita el grupo exploró el barrio apoyados por teléfonos celulares, tablets, drones y cámaras fotográficas, con los que consiguieron reproducir imágenes, interpretar e imaginar el espacio urbano del Minuto de Dios. De regreso al museo se plasmaron sobre el papel los lugares, objetos, paisajes y personas que captaron la atención de los asistentes.

Una vez hechos los dibujos con ayuda de una aplicación móvil que permite desarrollar realidades aumentadas, se experimentó con las cámaras de los celulares sobre las imágenes y se desarrollaron animaciones sencillas superpuestas a los dibujos. En este encuentro la creatividad de los asistentes, y la disposición por parte de los artistas de transferir sus conocimientos, dieron como resultado, una obra colectiva que trascendió el territorio del museo y fue expuesta en la Galería Christopher Paschall s.XXI, en el marco de la exposición colectiva “ Back/Play/Forward” de Raúl Marroquín y Klaus Fruchtnis.

La posibilidad de tener una obra con realidades mixtas en tiempo real, y aprender sobre el arte de interacción social fue el logro que se alcanzó con el taller. El museo y los asistentes quedaron motivados a seguir explorando este tipo de plataformas, ya que gracias al encuentro con los artistas se usaron nuevos medios de comunicación como elementos de trabajo y de inspiración, a la par que se descubrieron herramientas que cuestionan los procesos artísticos y que contribuyen a tomar conciencia sobre el espacio urbano.

PLAYGROUND Creative lab The bakery shop, the transmilenio, the neighbors flowers and the sculptural space of the MAC, among the other spaces around del Minuto de Dios neighbourhood, territory in which the museum is located, was the inspiration for artists Klaus Fruchtnis and Raúl Marroquín as they interacted with the public during the “PLAYGROUND Creative Lab”.

The objective was to create a collective artwork between the participants and the artists based on the exploration of the urban space.

The workshop started by the visit of the exhibition, the participants had the opportunity to know more about the artists and their creative processes, as well as the techniques in which user technology is involved. After the visit, the public explored the neighborhood using Smartphones, tablets, drones and digital cameras, they produced images, interpreted and imagined the urban space of the Minuto de Dios neighbourhood.

Back to the museum they put on paper, places, objects, landscapes and the people who caught their attention.

Once the drawings were made using a mobile application that allows the development of augmented realities, they experimented with their mobile cameras on the images and developed simple animations onto the drawings.

Thanks to the participant’s creativity and the willingness of artists to transfer their knowledge, the result was a collective artwork that went beyond the territory of the museum and was exhibited at the Christopher Paschall s.XXI Gallery during the “Back/Play/Forward” exhibition of Raúl Marroquín and Klaus Fruchtnis.

The possibility of creating an art piece with mixed realities in real time, and learn about social interaction was the achievement of the workshop.

The museum and participants were encouraged to continue exploring these platforms, and thanks to the encounter with the artists new media as elements of work and inspiration. At the same time, they discovered tools that question artistic processes and contribute to raise awareness about the urban space.
