Long live Dr. Ho This special report was done with a very clear excuse: to mark the 50 years of Hotal-Casino Lisboa. February is the month to celebrate the event. Lisboa is much more than just a Macau casino. There was no talk of integrated resorts yet and STDM was thinking of a complex with these characteristics. It is also the oldest and - therefore - a real symbol of STDM / SJM’s past, present, and perhaps, future. But this special report goes far beyond that pretext: It is also a way of highlighting
what Stanley Ho did for Macau; especially until 2001, but we have not forgotten what happened in these 20 years of MSAR. Stanley Ho is the most important personality of the last 50 years in Macau and this work intends to highlight this, from various perspectives, as our readers will have the opportunity to perceive. There is no recent news about the health of the king of gambling (he, who has never played in a casino ...), so we follow that he will be fine.
