DR. DAVID L. ALLEN LAUNCHES JOB COMMENTARY WITH BOOK SIGNING AT MID-AMERICA

Continuing Mid-America’s long tradition of faculty publishing influential commentaries and other publications, Dr. David L. Allen, Distinguished Professor of Practical Theology and Dean of the Adrian Rogers Center for Biblical Preaching, recently published Exalting Jesus in Job, part of the Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary Series from Holman Reference. He held a book signing at the Lion’s Den, Mid-America’s bookstore.

Starting from the conviction that Christ can be found in each book of the Bible, Dr. Allen invites the reader to discern His presence in the Book of Job. Each section of commentary—on subjects from “Wishing You Had Never Been Born” to the speeches of Job’s friends—is followed by reflection and discussion questions for devotions and small groups.
