In the moment of writing, March 2025 is behind us and different thing has happend in Metalheads Against Bullying. In this edition of the magazine, you will meet the board in the organisasion, and get to know them better, you can also read about Prettier Scars, where and when that will take place. The festival season starts soon, which means a busy, but exciting time for us. We are looking forward to get back on the road again, and we truly hope we meet you on one of our trips I want to encourage you all, to make

Here's the season!
April is the first month of festivals and I wish I could be a part of it all, at all the exciting places this summer!!
Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to do that, and I expect that there are more people than me who suffer from a little “FOMO”. That's why I wish that those of you who are at festivals this summer and meet the nice people in MAB, share the memories with us.

Stand at UKM Regionalfestival in Steinkjer
UKM (Youth Culture Meets) is arranged every year, all across Norway. It is a arena, where young people in age 13-20 meets to share their interest for music and art in all shapes and forms.

STURLA
Sturla is the leader of the board, he is 50 years old, and lives in Årnes.
His motivation for joining MAB is that he has felt and seen what exclusion is, and therfore believes it is important to make a contribution to the figth against bullying and that it leads to
Sturla is educated in IT and works as a IT consulent, or as he says himself, he has been working with computers since he was 14 years old. In his free time, outside of MAB, he races motorcross, and is a mechanic for his daughter, who also races motorcross. In the summer thay travel around Norway and run races.
He also drive a motorcyckle, and is a vocalist in different bands
LILLIAN
Lillian is the vice leader of the board, she is 49 years old, and lives in Årnes.
Lillian is a trained preschool teacher, teacher, sosial educational counselor and career counselor. She has woorked with childern and young people in both school and in psychiatry
Her motivation for joining MAB is to be able tto use her experience and education to help others, and to be a conversation partner and support for those in need.
In her free time, outside of MAB, Lillian is a creative soul. She paints and write poetry, and is currently working on her third poetry collection.
HILDE JEANETTE

Hilde Jeanette is a boardmember, she is 37 years old, and lives in Namsos
Her motivation for joining MAB is that she wants to make a difference. She wants to be the one for others, that she herself didn`t have.
Hilde Jeanette is a trained mental health consultant and works with both young peopler and adults with various challenges. She has broad experience from various previous board positions. In her free time outside of MAB, she is the head coach for a tigergroup in Taekwondo, her knitting needles are going steadily and she has a dog.
KRISTINE
Kristine is a board member, she is 50 years old and lives in Hamar
Her motivation for joining MAB is that she is genuinely passionate about inclusion and empowerment for all.
Kristine says that she greatly appreciates the trust placed in her by sitting on the board, and all the new acquaintances MAB has given her over the past few years.
She is a trained social worker, and has worked with people in different stages of life and with different stages of life for 30 years.
She has extensive experience from previous board positions. In her free time, outside of MAB, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, music and cultural activities.
GUNN
Gunn is a board member, she is 47 years old and lives in Overhalla
Her motivation for joining MAB is that she thinks everyone should have therright to be themselves, and be the support she missed growing up.
She is a qualified health coordinator and health administration secretary, and works as a receptionist at a hotel. Hes has experience from many different boards from the past.
In her free time outside of MAB, she is the leader for a local night raven group, sings in a choir and follows her children to shooting competitions

We received 4316 NOK divided between 22 donors and we are so grateful for each and every one of you! The money will give us the opportunity to help more people in the fight against bullying, with visibility and projects such as:
Prettier Scars, Metal hunting, Lectures, Consulting, Meeting places, and other important offers.
