2024 Texoma Spring Classic Longhorn Sale

Loomis Ranch is located in Marietta, Oklahoma. Pam and Bob Loomis have been legends in the Texas Longhorn industry because of the record-breaking animals in their herd including BL Rio Catchit, the first 90” TTT cow, and Cowboy Tuff Chex, the Guinness Book of World Records longest horned bull. The Longhorn cattle are not a business for Pam and Bob, they are a big part of their enjoyment each and every day. They strive for the complete animal, breeding for conformation, horn, color, and disposition. Bob and Pam are also leaders in the horse industry. With multiple championship wins, Bob is in the NRHA Hall of Fame.

Rockin’ H Longhorns was founded in 1988 and is located in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Over the years Dale and Jennifer have raised champions in the show ring, futurities, horn competitions and the sale ring!!!! Dale has been the pedigree reader for several sales over the past 20 years and he was the founder of the TLBAA Horn Showcase. Holy Cow Longhorns Mikeal got into longhorns in 2008 when he sold out his commercial herd. He spends countless hours studying genetics, researching progenies, and working with the herd every day. In September 2022 Mikeal and Brandi sold the farm in Springtown, TX and made the move to Asher, OK. Now a full-time rancher Mikeal continues to work, day and night, to create the perfect environment for the longhorns they love. Together, they have a passion for the animals, the lifestyle, and the great friendships they have developed in the industry. They look forward to many more years of growing and improving their herd, participating in futurities and sales, and meeting new breeders and building great friendships along the way. They are always looking for opportunities to partner with others to continually improve the industry and truly feel it’s an exciting time to be part of this great industry!

Terms: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are made payable to the Texoma Spring Sale.

Possession: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained until payment is made.

Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The consignor may set a reserve bid or bid on the animal themselves.

Bidding Disputes: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

Certification: A certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, exclusive of calves at side. Please provide name, address and the association of your choice when checking out.

Health: All animals are eligible for interstate shipment except as otherwise noted. The cattle have been tested for tuberculosis, Bangs disease within 30 days of the sale date. A health certificate will be furnished.

Guarantee: All Breeders Guarantees are strictly between the individual consignor and the purchaser at the sale. All calves are given to the purchaser free and with no guarantees. The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.

Stars and Stripes showcases the type of offspring Helm’s Ace produces, but in this case I give the bottom side of her pedigree the lion’s share of the credit. That bottom half brings in the 88” Top Caliber and the upper 90” Shadow Jubilee. Those two animals were, for a time, the longest horned bull and cow respectively in the breed. The mating of Top Caliber and Shadow Jubilee produced Pacific Jubilation, who measures 88” TTT on a huge rack of total horn. Stars and Stripes herself measures 88” TTT and will be well over 90” at maturity. Stars and Stripes has a gentle disposition and is easy to work.
