The Marbella 4Days Walking team, made up of around 90+ volunteers, warmly welcomes you to the fourteenth edition of Spain’s largest walking event: Marbella 4Days Walking!

You will enjoy all the beauty that Marbella has to offer. The routes will take you to places tourists usually don’t get to see. After the daily walk, it is time for a Marbella 4Days Fiesta.

Everyone who joined the walk – together with their family, friends, and locals – will dance and celebrate to live music from a variety of artists and DJs. Recharge with delicious food and refreshing drinks from the many stands.

We also invite you to discover the beautiful city of Marbella – its rich culture, vibrant atmosphere, and delicious gastronomy. If you have a few extra days, take the time to explore the surrounding area as well; you’ll find more information about this in the guide. Then you’ll begin to understand why we love living here – and why we’re so excited to share it all with you.

Todo el equipo de Marbella 4Days Walking, casi 90+ voluntarios durante el evento de este año, te da la bienvenida a la duodécima edición de Marbella 4Days Walking.

Estos días disfrutarás de toda la belleza que Marbella ofrece, las rutas te llevarán por lugares donde normalmente los turistas no llegan. Después de la caminata es hora para Marbella 4Days Fiesta junto con todos los que caminaron, familiares y amigos. Baila hasta la tarde al ritmo de la música en vivo, con una amplia gama de artistas y DJs y repón energías con buena comida y bebidas refrescantes en varios puestos en la plaza.

También te invitamos a descubrir la ciudad, su cultura y su gastronomía. Y si tienes unos días más: ve y explora la provincia de Málaga u otras partes de Andalucía. Entonces comprenderás porqué nos encanta vivir aquí y porqué nos hace ilusión compartir todo esto contigo durante estos cuatro días.

Je gaat deze dagen genieten van al het moois dat Marbella te bieden heeft, met de routes kom je langs plekken waar toeristen normaal gesproken niet zo snel komen

Iedereen die heeft meegelopen –samen met familie, vrienden en locals – danst en viert feest op livemuziek van diverse artiesten en DJ’s. Laad je energie weer op met heerlijk eten en verfrissende drankjes van de vele stands in het Walking Village.

We nodigen je ook uit om de prachtige stad Marbella te ontdekken – met haar rijke cultuur, levendige sfeer en heerlijke gastronomie. Heb je nog een paar extra dagen te besteden? Het Marbella 4Days Walking Team

EN FOUNDERS

The idea for Marbella 4Days Walking was born when Hans Wohl, at the age of seventy, decided it was finally time to retire and take part in the famous Nijmegen Four Days Marches – also known as The Walk of the World.

He completed all four days and was so impressed by the atmosphere, organisation, and the people he met that he felt such an event should also exist in Spain.

Inspired by this iconic experience, Hans approached Marbella’s Town Hall with a DVD of the Nijmegen Marches in hand, hoping to spark their interest. While they loved the idea, they made it

clear there was no budget to support it – and that if Hans wanted it to happen, he would have to organise it himself.

Undeterred, Hans and his wife Clarie took the plunge. In 2011, together with a small team, they launched the very first edition of Marbella 4Days Walking. That year, 658 walkers joined the event. Since then, participation has grown steadily, and every year we continue to invest in new ideas and improvements to make the experience even better.

After 10 successful years, Hans and Clarie decided to retire. In 2022, Arabella M. Wessels took over the event and continues to lead it with the same passion and dedication.

La idea de organizar un evento de cuatro días de senderismo en Marbella viene de Hans Wohl. A la edad de setenta años decidió que era hora de jubilarse y por fin participar en las Marchas de los Cuatro Días de Nijmegen en Holanda.

Hans fue al Ayuntamiento con un DVD de las Marchas de los Cuatro Días de Nijmegen en la mano. El plan era simplemente darles una idea…

Sin embargo, el Ayuntamiento le dijo que él mismo tenía que organizar este evento porque ellos carecían de presupuesto. En 2011, fundadores Hans y Clarie dieron el paso y comenzaron a trabajar con un pequeño equipo. 658 caminantes acudieron a Marbella para la primera edición de M4DW. Desde entonces, el número de participantes no ha hecho más que crecer y cada año se invierte en innovaciones que hacen que el evento sea más seguro y divertido.

Tras 10 años de éxito, Hans y Clarie decidieron retirarse. En 2022, Arabella M. Wessels asumió la dirección del evento y continúa liderándolo con la misma pasión y dedicación.

Het idee voor Marbella 4Days Walking ontstond toen Hans Wohl, op zeventigjarige leeftijd, besloot dat het tijd was om met pensioen te gaan en mee te doen aan de beroemde Nijmeegse Vierdaagse – ook wel The Walk of the World genoemd.

Hij liep alle vier de dagen uit en was zo onder de indruk van de sfeer, de organisatie en de mensen die hij onderweg ontmoette, dat hij vond dat zo’n evenement ook in Spanje moest komen.

Geïnspireerd door deze bijzondere ervaring stapte Hans met een dvd van de Nijmeegse Vierdaagse naar de gemeente Marbella, in de hoop hen enthousiast te maken. Ze vonden het een geweldig idee, maar er was geen budget om het te steunen – als Hans het wilde laten doorgaan, moest hij het zelf organiseren.

Onverschrokken namen Hans en zijn vrouw Clarie de uitdaging aan. In 2011 organiseerden zij, samen met een klein team, de allereerste editie van Marbella 4Days Walking. Dat jaar deden 658 wandelaars mee. Sindsdien is het aantal deelnemers gestaag gegroeid en investeren we ieder jaar in nieuwe ideeën en verbeteringen om de ervaring nog mooier te maken.

Na 10 succesvolle jaren besloten Hans en Clarie met pensioen te gaan. In 2022 nam Arabella M. Wessels het event over en leidt zij het evenement met dezelfde passie en toewijding.

For this reason, the City Council once again congratulates the organisers for their clear commitment to our destination and for organising a remarkable event that brings together over 2,900 participants from very different nationalities each year. Como alcaldesa de Marbella, os doy mi más sincera bienvenida a nuestra ciudad en una nueva edición de ‘Marbella 4 Días Caminado’, que se ha convertido, sin lugar a dudas, en uno de los principales referentes deportivos, medioambientales y turísticos de nuestro municipio. Estoy convencida de que esta maravillosa iniciativa, que cumple su decimocuarta edición, volverá a deleitarnos con esos rincones tan emblemáticos de la localidad. Gracias, un año más, por vuestra entrega y vuestro compromiso.

Por ello, desde el Ayuntamiento volvemos a felicitar a los organizadores por su clara apuesta por nuestro destino y por la organización de un destacable encuentro que reúne cada año a unos 2.900 participantes de muy diversas nacionalidades. PRACTICAL INFORMATION

ONLINE REGISTRATION

If the maximum number of 3000 participants has not been reached, you can still register in the registration tent on Wednesday between 10 and 16 hrs, you can register online at www.marbella4dayswalking.com. You will receive your participant number by email. Take this proof of registration, either printed or on your mobile phone, to the registration stand. There, you will receive your participation ticket as a lanyard with an electronic chip.

OFFLINE REGISTRATION

If the maximum number of 3000 participants has not been reached, you can still register in the registration tent on Wednesday between 10 and 16 hrs. From Thursday to Sunday, you can register between 8 and 16 hrs. Keep the starting times in mind if you want to walk on the same day. The price for offline registration is higher than the price for online registration.

1, 2, 3, OR 4 DAYS

When you register, you can decide how many days you want to walk.

Only participants who complete all 4 days of walking and finish before 16:00 each day will receive a medal on Sunday.

DISTANCES

During the registration process, you can choose your walking distance: Easy 10–15 km, Intermediate 20–25 km, or Advanced 30–35 km.

Want to change your distance during the event? No problem, just make sure to update it first at the Registration Tent. For safety reasons, we need to know how many people are walking each route.

Please note: The finish closes strictly at 16:00 sharp – no exceptions!

CHECKPOINTS

As you walk, you’ll pass checkpoints where your lanyard is scanned to track your progress.

• 1 checkpoint on Easy routes

• 2 on Intermediate routes

• 3 on Advanced routes Each participant will receive a bottle of water at the start and at the checkpoint (s). Toilets are conveniently available at both locations.

Checkpoint closing times:

• Checkpoint 1 (10, 20, 30 km & Challenge Routes): 13:00

• Checkpoint 2 (20 & 30 km): 15:00

• Checkpoint 3 (30 km): 14.30

M4DW APP

In the Marbella 4Days Walking App, you can view your daily route and your live location on it. Your friends and family can follow you from anywhere in the world.

Important event updates are also available right in the app. With the emergency button, you can quickly contact the organizers and share your location. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Just search for Marbella4Days (Tracx).

FOOD & DRINK ON ROUTE

Be prepared– always bring your own bottle of water and a snack. Along the route, you’ll find several food & drink stands, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants where you can take a break and recharge.

Lost & Found in the Organisation Tent

SAFETY ON THE ROUTE

Every day, two Safety & Support teams are on the route to help where needed.

Ambulance:

There are two ambulances: one patrolling the route and another stationed at the Walking Village (Plaza del Mar) for emergencies.

Insurance:

Make sure your insurance covers medical assistance. The ambulance will generally take you to a public hospital. If you have private insurance, check in advance whether your policy also covers private hospitals in Spain.

Traffic:

If you’re walking on public roads, stay on the pavement or walk on the left-hand side (facing traffic). Always use pedestrian crossings and obey traffic lights. Don’t create your own route doing so may result in disqualification. At tricky crossings, take your time. Police or M4DW volunteers may be present –always follow their instructions!

HELP & AMBULANCE

At Plaza del Mar, you will find a dedicated tent offering foot and blister care, physiotherapy, and massages. First aid is available in the on-site ambulance. If

you require urgent medical attention, an ambulance can take you directly to the nearest hospital.

ENVIRONMENT

All checkpoints are equipped with waste bins and plastic recycling. You’ll also find public recycling containers in residential areas:

• Yellow: plastic

• Blue: paper

• Green: glass

• Grey: general waste Please help us keep Marbella clean so we can keep this event going next year too!

Smoking

Along the route, smoking is only allowed in designated areas with ashtrays. Smoking or discarding cigarette butts in nature poses a serious fire risk and can result in heavy fines.

Marbella 4Days Walking discourages smoking in the Walking Village. If you do smoke, please use the designated smoking areas – and never on or near the dance floor, out of respect for others.

Public urination:

Urinating in public or in nature is strictly forbidden.

Toilets are available at all checkpoints, and in Spain, you’re allowed to use the toilet in a bar or café without making a purchase.

However, it’s always appreciated if you order something or leave a small tip.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION EN

Take note:

If we are informed that you have violated Spanish laws – such as littering in the streets or nature, or urinating in public –you will be immediately disqualified from the event, including from future editions.

VIA GLADIOLO

On Sunday, just before the finish line, you’ll pass triumphantly under the Via Gladiolo arch.

The gladiolus – a Roman symbol of victory – is your sign that you’ve made it! Friends, family, and volunteers will be cheering, ready to welcome you with flowers.

Just a few more steps and you’ll cross the official finish, where your hardearned medal awaits – a special award for those who have completed all four walking days and finished each one within the set time.

If you didn’t quite meet the requirements, you won’t receive a medal – but you’ll always take home the memories of a wonderful experience and the pride of having been part of this special event.

WHAT TO WEAR

During the walk

Wear comfortable walking shoes and good socks to avoid blisters. Dress in layers so you’re ready for sunshine, wind, or a sudden shower.

A cap or hat is essential, and don’t forget to apply sunscreen – even in the shade. The sun in Marbella is stronger than you think!

In and around the city: Spain has rules regarding appropriate clothing in public spaces such as squares, terraces, streets, and the Walking Village. Walking around without a shirt or top is only allowed at the beach. Be aware that walking around without a shirt or top elsewhere may result in a fine from the local police

The colour of your lanyard shows which distance you’re walking.

Each lanyard contains a chip that is scanned at the start, checkpoints, and finish.

Please note: this chip is only for tracking your walk – not for payments.

Yellow:

EASY 10–15 km, 4 days

Green:

INTERMEDIATE 20–25 km, 4 days

Navy blue:

ADVANCED 30–35 km, 4 days

Red:

all distances, 1 day

Orange: CHALLENGE routes, 2 days

PAYING IN THE WALKING VILLAGE

Pay with the M4DW Payment Card

– quick, safe, and easy

During Marbella 4Days Walking, you can pay quickly and securely at all food and drink stands using the M4DW Payment Card. No need to carry cash – it makes payments simple and hassle-free.

You can purchase the card for €1 at the Payment Desk in the Walking Village (Plaza del Mar). It’s valid for 2 years, so you can use it again next year.

How it works:

1. Buy your card

Get your personal M4DW Payment Card at the Payment Desk for €1.

2. Top up your card

There are four ways to load credit onto your card:

• With cash at the Payment Desk

• By debit or credit card

• Online via iDEAL (a €0.25 transaction fee applies)

• By linking your card to your bank card via our website or app

3. Easy payment

Simply tap your card at any food or drink stand to pay instantly.

4. Check your balance

You can check your balance at the Payment Desk or by scanning the QR code on your card.

5. Lost your card?

Unfortunately, if your card is lost, your credit is lost too. That’s why we recommend writing your name on it right away using a permanent marker (available at the Payment Desk, Registration, or Info Stand). You can always buy a new card.

6. Leftover credit?

You can keep your credit and use it again next year. Prefer a refund? You can request one via a link on our website within 2 weeks after the event. Please note that administrative fees apply.

Si no se ha alcanzado el número máximo de 3000 participantes, aún puede inscribirse en la carpa de registro el miércoles entre las 10:00 y las 16:00 h. De jueves a domingo, puede inscribirse entre las 8:00 y las 16:00 h. Tenga en cuenta la hora de inicio si desea caminar el mismo día. El precio de la inscripción presencial es superior al de la inscripción online.

Cuando te inscribes, eliges cuántos días vas a caminar.

Solo los participantes que caminen los 4 días y lleguen a la meta a tiempo cada día (¡antes de las 16.00 h!) recibirán una medalla el domingo.

DISTANCIAS

Al inscribirte, elige la distancia que quieras recorrer: Fácil 10-15 km, Media 20-25 km o Avanzada 30-35 km.

¿Quieres cambiar de distancia durante el evento? Se puede, pero solo si primero lo notificas en la carpa de registro. Por razones de seguridad necesitamos saber cuántas personas hay en cada ruta.

SEÑALIZACIÓN

Todas las rutas están bien indicadas con señales de M4DW y M2DC con flechas de colores:

FÁCIL 10 – 15 km: amarillo

MEDIA 20 – 25 km: verde

AVANZADA 30 – 35 km: azul

Challenge: naranja

En la App de M4DW puedes ver la ruta diaria y tu ubicación exacta.

PUESTOS DE CONTROL

ADurante la ruta pasarás por puestos de control donde se escaneará tu lanyard.

En cada uno se entrega una botella de agua por participante y hay aseos disponibles.

COMIDA Y BEBIDA

No dependas de otros... Lleva siempre tu propia botella de agua y algo de comer. A lo largo del camino hay varios puntos de venta donde puedes comprar comida y bebida.

También encontrarás muchos bares y restaurantes donde puedes parar y recargar energías.

SEGURIDAD EN LA RUTA

Cada día hay dos equipos de Seguridad & Apoyo en la ruta para ayudar si hace falta.

Ambulancia:

Hay una ambulancia en la ruta y otra de guardia en el Walking Village (Plaza del Mar).

Seguro médico:

Asegúrate de que tu seguro cubre asistencia médica. En principio, te llevarán a un hospital público. Si tienes seguro privado, consulta de antemano si tu póliza cubre hospitales privados en España.

Tráfico:

Cuando camines por carreteras con tráfico, hazlo por la acera o por el lado izquierdo (de cara al tráfico). Usa pasos de peatones y semáforos. No inventes tus propias rutas: podrías ser descalificado.

En cruces complicados puede haber presencia policial o voluntarios de M4DW: sigue siempre sus indicaciones.

ASISTENCIA Y AMBULANCIA

En Plaza del Mar hay una carpa con servicios de fisioterapia y primeros auxilios. Si necesitas asistencia médica, la ambulancia te llevará al hospital más cercano.

MEDIOAMBIENTE

En todos los puntos de control hay contenedores para residuos generales y reciclaje de plásticos. También puedes usar los contenedores públicos:

• Amarillo: plásticos

• Azul: papel

• Verde: vidrio

• Gris: restos

¡Ayúdanos a mantener Marbella limpia para poder organizar el evento también el próximo año!

Fumar:

Fuma solo en zonas donde haya ceniceros. Tirar colillas en la naturaleza conlleva multas muy altas por peligro de incendio.

Preferimos que no fumes en el Walking Village y nunca en o cerca de la pista de baile.

Orinar en la vía pública:

Está prohibido hacerlo en la calle o en la naturaleza.

INFORMACIÓN PRÁCTICA ES

Hay aseos en los puntos de control y, en España, puedes usar los baños de los bares sin necesidad de consumir, aunque los propietarios agradecen que tomes algo o dejes una propina.

¡Importante!

Si alguien del equipo o un participante te ve tirando basura en la calle o en la naturaleza, quedarás expulsado de este y futuros eventos.

VIA GLADIOLUS

El domingo, justo antes de la meta, pasarás bajo el arco de Via Gladiolus. El gladiolo es símbolo romano de victoria: ¡lo has conseguido! Tus amigos, familia y los voluntarios de M4DW te darán la bienvenida con flores.

Desde ahí es solo un pequeño tramo hasta la meta, donde recibirás tu medalla si completaste los cuatro días.

ONLINE INSCHRIJVEN

Wanneer het maximum van 3000 deelnemers nog niet is behaald, kun jij je nog online inschrijven via www.marbella4dayswalking.com.

Via email ontvang je jouw deelnemersnummer, neem dit mee op papier of op je mobiele telefoon. Hiermee krijg je startbewijs uitgereikt in de vorm van een lanyard.

OFFLINE INSCHRIJVEN

Wanneer het maximum van 3000 deelnemers nog niet is behaald, kun jij je nog inschrijven in de registratietent. Weet wel: offline inschrijven is duurder dan online inschrijven. Van donderdag tot en met zondag kun je je tussen 8 en 16 uur inschrijven. Wil je dezelfde dag nog meelopen? Houd dan wel rekening met de starttijden.

DAGEN

Bij het inschrijven kan je zelf kiezen hoeveel dagen je meeloopt. Alleen deelnemers die alle 4 dagen meelopen én elke dag op tijd finishen (voor 16.00 uur!) krijgen op zondag een medaille.

AFSTANDEN

Bij je inschrijving kies je welke afstand je wilt lopen: Makkelijk 10-15 km, Gemiddeld 20-25 km of Uitdagend 30-35 km.

Wil je tijdens het event van afstand wisselen? Dat kan, dit moet je eerst laten aanpassen bij de registratie-tent. Voor de veiligheid willen we weten hoeveel mensen er per route zijn.

Tijdens het wandelen passeer je checkpoints waar je lanyard wordt gescand om je voortgang bij te houden.

• 1 checkpoint op de EASY routes

• 2 checkpoints op de INTERMEDIATE routes

• 3 checkpoints op de ADVANCED routes

Bij de start en bij de checkpoint(s) ontvang je als deelnemer een flesje water. Op beide plekken zijn ook toiletten beschikbaar.

Sluitingstijden checkpoints:

• Checkpoint 1 (10, 20, 30 km & Challenge Routes): 13:00

• Checkpoint 2 (20 & 30 km): 15:00

• Checkpoint 3 (30 km): 14.30

In de Marbella 4Days Walking App zie je je dagelijkse route en je actuele positie daarop.

Je vrienden en familie kunnen je overal ter wereld live volgen. Belangrijke nieuwtjes over het evenement vind je ook direct in de app.

Met de noodknop neem je snel contact op met de organisatie en deel je meteen je locatie.

De app is gratis te downloaden in de Google Play Store en Apple Store. Zoek op Marbella4Days (Tracx).

ETEN & DRINKEN

Wees voorbereid! Neem altijd zelf een flesje water en iets te eten mee. Op meerdere plekken onderweg zijn stands waar je eten en drinken kunt kopen.

Ook zijn er onderweg genoeg bars en restaurants om even op te laden.

VEILIGHEID OP DE ROUTE

Dagelijks zijn er twee Safety & Support teams onderweg om je te helpen waar nodig.

Ambulance:

Er zijn twee ambulances beschikbaar –één begeleidt de route, terwijl de andere standby staat bij het Walking Village (Plaza del Mar).

Verzekering:

Zorg dat je verzekering medische hulp dekt. De ambulance brengt je in principe naar een openbaar ziekenhuis.

Heb je een privéverzekering?

Controleer dan vooraf of jouw polis ook privéziekenhuizen in Spanje dekt.

Verkeer:

Als je op openbare wegen loopt, blijf dan op het trottoir of loop aan de linkerkant, tegen de rijrichting in. Gebruik altijd de zebrapaden en volg de verkeerslichten.

Maak geen eigen route, want dat kan leiden tot diskwalificatie.

Neem bij lastige oversteekplaatsen de tijd. Politie of M4DW-vrijwilligers kunnen aanwezig zijn — volg altijd hun aanwijzingen op!

HULP & AMBULANCE

Bij Plaza del Mar vind je een speciale tent voor voet- en blaarverzorging, fysiotherapie en massages.

Eerste hulp is beschikbaar in de ambulance ter plaatse.

Heb je dringend medische zorg nodig, dan kan een ambulance je rechtstreeks naar het dichtstbijzijnde ziekenhuis brengen.

MILIEU

Bij alle checkpoints staan bakken voor afval en plastic.

In woonwijken en op straat kun je afval kwijt in containers:

• Geel: plastic

• Blauw: papier

• Groen: glas

• Grijs: restafval

Help ons Marbella schoon te houden –zodat we dit prachtige evenement ook volgend jaar weer mogen organiseren!

Roken:

Op de route mag je alleen roken op aangewezen plekken met een asbak. Roken of peuken weggooien in de natuur brengt ernstig brandgevaar met zich mee en kan leiden tot hoge boetes. Marbella 4Days Walking ontmoedigt roken in het Walking Village. Als je toch wilt roken, doe dit dan alleen op de daarvoor bestemde plekken – en zeker niet op of bij de dansvloer, uit respect voor anderen.

Wildplassen:

Urineren in het openbaar of in de natuur is strikt verboden.

PRAKTISCHE INFORMATIE NL

Bij alle checkpoints zijn toiletten aanwezig, en in Spanje mag je de wc van een bar of café gebruiken zonder iets te kopen.

Toch wordt het gewaardeerd als je iets bestelt of een kleine fooi achterlaat.

Let op:

Als wij horen dat je de Spaanse wet overtreedt – bijvoorbeeld door afval op straat of in de natuur te gooien, of te urineren in het openbaar – dan volgt onmiddellijke diskwalificatie, ook voor toekomstige edities.

VIA GLADIOLO

Op zondag, net voor de finish, loop je triomfantelijk onder de Via Gladiolo-boog door.

De gladiool – een Romeins symbool van overwinning – is het teken dat je het hebt gehaald!

Vrienden, familie en vrijwilligers staan daar klaar om je toe te juichen en je met bloemen te verwelkomen.

Nog maar een paar stappen en je bereikt de officiële finish, waar je welverdiende medaille op je wacht – een speciale onderscheiding voor iedereen die alle vier wandeldagen heeft volbracht en elke dag binnen de gestelde tijd is gefinisht.

Heb je dat net niet gehaald, dan krijg je geen medaille – maar je neemt altijd de herinnering mee aan een prachtige ervaring en de trots dat je deel hebt uitgemaakt van dit bijzondere evenement. Dit is jouw moment – geniet van elke seconde!

WAT TREK JE AAN?

Tijdens het wandelen

Draag goede wandelschoenen en comfortabele sokken om blaren te voorkomen. Kleed je in laagjes, zodat je bent voorbereid op zon, wind of een plotselinge bui. Een pet of hoed is geen overbodige luxe, en vergeet de zonnebrand niet – ook in de schaduw. De zon in Marbella is sterker dan je denkt!

In en rond de stad:

In Spanje gelden regels voor gepaste kleding in openbare ruimtes zoals pleinen, terrassen, straten en ook in het Walking Village. Zonder shirt of top rondlopen is alleen op het strand toegestaan. Houd er rekening mee dat zonder shirt of top rondlopen in de stad een boete kan opleveren van de lokale politie.

De kleur van je lanyard geeft aan welke afstand je loopt.

In elk lanyard zit een chip die wordt gescand bij de start, de checkpoints en de finish.

Let op: deze chip is alleen bedoeld voor het wandelen – niet voor betalingen.

Betalen met de M4DW Betaalkaart

– snel, veilig en gemakkelijk

Tijdens Marbella 4Days Walking betaal je bij alle eet- en drinkkraampjes eenvoudig en contactloos met de M4DW Betaalkaart. Zo hoef je niet met contant geld rond te lopen en verloopt het betalen snel en soepel.

Je koopt de kaart voor €1 bij de Betaalbalie in de Walking Village (Plaza del Mar). De kaart is 2 jaar geldig, dus je kunt hem ook volgend jaar opnieuw gebruiken.

Zo werkt het:

1. Koop je betaalkaart

Bij de Betaalbalie koop je je eigen M4DW Betaalkaart voor €1.

2. Laad je saldo op

Je kunt op vier manieren geld op je kaart zetten:

- Contant bij de balie

- Met pinpas of creditcard

- Online via iDEAL (hier worden €0,25 transactiekosten voor gerekend)

- Door je kaart te koppelen aan je bankpas via onze website of app

3. Betaal eenvoudig

Houd je kaart kort bij de scanner bij alle eet- en drinkkraampjes. Zo is je bestelling direct betaald.

4. Check je saldo

Je saldo check je bij de Betaalbalie of eenvoudig zelf door de QR-code op je kaart te scannen.

5. Kaart kwijt?

Ben je je kaart kwijt, dan vervalt helaas ook het saldo. Daarom raden we aan om je naam direct op de kaart te schrijven met een permanente marker (verkrijgbaar bij de Betaalbalie, de Registratie of de Organisatiestand). Nieuwe kaarten zijn te koop bij de Betaalbalie.

6. Saldo over?

Je kunt het resterende saldo bewaren en volgend jaar opnieuw gebruiken. Wil je het saldo liever terugvragen? Dat kan binnen 2 weken na het evenement via een link op onze website. Hiervoor worden administratiekosten in rekening gebracht.

La Ruta Verde tiene alternativas que discurren por caminos estrechos y rocosos. Si eliges esta opción, sigue las flechas moradas. A continuación, volverás automáticamente a la ruta normal.

Volunteers are the backbone of our event, many of whom have dedicated over a decade to making Marbella 4Days Walking a success. Nearly 90 passionate individuals ensure every participant has a memorable experience. Their day begins early as they prepare routes and put up the signs. At checkpoints, they greet walkers, scan wristbands, and distribute water, while others handle registration.

Volunteers also manage the Walking Village, keeping everything running smoothly. As the day ends, the Route Team collects signs, always thinking ahead. The dedication of our team of volunteers is evident in every detail, from early preparations to the final cheers at the finish line into the after-parties. Without their commitment, none of this would be possible, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

Los voluntarios son la columna vertebral de nuestro evento, muchos de los cuales han dedicado más de una década a hacer que Marbella 4Days Walking sea un éxito. Casi 90 personas apasionadas se aseguran de que cada participante tenga una experiencia memorable. Su día comienza temprano mientras preparan rutas y cuelgan carteles. En los puntos de control, saludan a los caminantes, escanean pulseras y reparten agua, mientras que otros se encargan del registro.

Los voluntarios también gestionan el Walking Village, haciendo que todo funcione sin problemas. Al final del día, el equipo de ruta recoge los carteles, siempre pensando en el futuro. La dedicación de nuestro equipo de voluntarios es evidente en cada detalle, desde los preparativos iniciales hasta los aplausos finales en la línea de meta y las fiestas posteriores. Sin ellos, nada de esto sería posible, y por eso estamos infinitamente agradecidos.

Vrijwilligers zijn de pilaren van ons evenement, waarvan velen zich al meer dan tien jaar inzetten om Marbella 4Days Walking tot een nog groter succes te maken. Bijna 90 gepassioneerde personen zorgen ervoor dat elke deelnemer een onvergetelijke ervaring heeft. Hun dag begint vroeg; ze bereiden routes voor en hangen borden op. Bij controleposten begroeten anderen wandelaars, scannen ze polsbandjes en delen ze water uit, terwijl weer anderen de registratie regelen.

Vrijwilligers beheren ook de Walking Village en zorgen ervoor dat daar alles soepel verloopt. Aan het einde van de dag verzamelt het route Team wederom de bordjes, altijd vooruitdenkend. De toewijding van ons team van vrijwilligers is in elk detail zichtbaar, van de vroege voorbereidingen tot de laatste toejuichingen bij de finishlijn en tijdens de after-party’s. Zonder hen zou dit allemaal niet mogelijk zijn, en daarvoor zijn wij enorm dankbaar.

Als Leiderschapscoach en -mentor begeleid ik vrouwen op seniorniveau om krachtig en bewust hun plek in te nemen, zodat je je authentieke leven kunt creëren. Zodat je keuzes kunt maken die passen bij deze fase van je leven. Gebruik je tijd & energie voor wat er écht toe doet voor jou.

De Straat van Gibraltar is een van de beste plekken in Europa om dolfijnen en walvissen te spotten. Vanuit Tarifa, de zuidelijkste stad van Spanje, kun je op een boottocht gaan om deze prachtige dieren in hun natuurlijke habitat te observeren. De wateren rond Gibraltar zijn rijk aan zeeleven, en met een beetje geluk kun je naast dolfijnen ook potvissen en orka’s zien. Deze ervaring is niet alleen spectaculair, maar ook educatief, met gidsen die je alles vertellen over de zeedieren en hun omgeving. Sowieso is het heerlijk toeven op een boot met uitzicht op de mythische Zuilen van Hercules met Afrika in zicht.
