TV writer Andrew Barnett Jones is going to tell you a story – but he has no idea what it is. With your help, he’ll be playing The Story Game, creating a hysterically funny story from a handful of words, a roll of the dice and his own rollercoaster imagination.

It’s bin collection day and our two heroic waste collectors Max and Ola have found a dustbin that refuses to release its contents!

When the pair of refuse loaders realise that ‘one man’s trash is another woman’s treasure’, a trove of wondrous tales recycle their way out of the rubbish.

Shy Samantha and her friend Pebble have decided to have a day at the seaside. But when beach owner Al lets curiosity get the better of him, Pebble goes missing.

In looking for her much-loved friend, Samantha comes out of her shell and discovers the freedom to be herself.

What do the age ranges mean?

All our shows have age recommendations but these are guidelines only. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring my baby?

We welcome babies, but if they cry we ask that you take them outside of the auditorium. Children under 18 months old can sit on a lap and do not need a ticket. However, if they require a seat a child ticket must be purchased.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes, we have baby changing facilities on our first floor.

Breastfeeding Statement

The Lyric welcomes babies to be breastfed in any public area of the premises.

The entrance to the Lyric is in Lyric Square just off King Street. Scooters are welcome and can be left in our buggy park.
