North County Alliance returns international champs

SPAIN — e Lynden North County Alliance e girls won two of their four group games and then won in the knockout round semi nals to advance to the championship game. e tournament featured over 800 teams from around the world and the NCA group came out on top in the U19 division. ey were in Donastia-San Sebastian, Spain for the tournament and started their trip back home on July 11.

FC U19 soccer club traveled to Spain and won the Donosti Cup Europa nals, 1-0 on Saturday, July 8.

Evelyn Saldivar had the game-winner and was assisted by Mallary Villars.

All three of their wins in the prior games came on goals in the nal minutes of each game.
