HS2 Recognition Awards
‘Exceptional performance’ rewarded with certificate from the CSJV
Lynch has been awarded this fantastic achievement (Exceptional Performance of Plant & Materials Supply) from the CSJV and who better to receive this award from David Mason, CSJV Lead Supply Chain Manager, than our HS2 Hiredesk Team of Lisa Healey, Amy Wicks and Lydia Phillips.

Amy commented, “We do a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure that all the demands of site are met to keep the works moving. To be recognised for that with an award is fantastic. The team and I are very proud and look forward to the future challenges of support HS2 will require.”
Fusion recognises value of Operators
Lynch was very pleased to receive the following feedback from Fusion’s Natalia Szemla, Health, Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator:
“I would like to feed back to you that the Plant Operators you sent to be inducted this morning were really involved and engaging throughout the induction. Hearing their perspective was invaluable to those who aren’t used to being around machinery and was a great example of leadership and positive safety behaviour.”
This highlights the importance of placing great operators and continually improving. We are a valuable part of the supply chain and are industry leaders.

Costain Blue Award
As a consequence of exceptional performance over two consecutive quarters, Lynch is proud to have achieved Costain Blue standard performance on the HS2 EWC South JVC project.
Lynch would like to extend its congratulations and thanks to all staff involved.

Innovation Award
Our Tier 1 contractors are regularly giving awards to Supply Chain for excellence. At Lynch we feel that reward and recognition should go both ways.
That’s why we gave an individual from our customer CSJV an Innovation Award. It was because of Ben Lennon’s support that we brought zero emissions electric plant to HS2.

Lynch is extremely proud to have been featured on HS2’s own LinkedIn page with a post highlighting our HS2 Project Manager James Barden. James commented, “This is a proud achievement for me and all at Lynch; to be featured proves our success so far, and I believe it highlights our intent of ensuring we are an integral part of the supply chain to High Speed Two.”

Hydration Tool Box Talk
Rayon Brown, a Lynch Plant Operator working on Area East, has been nominated for a Safe at Heart Value Award by Robert Dubber, Health & Safety Manager, S1 HS2.
Rayon is working on the Euston Throat Retained Cut (ETRC) in Area East. Rayon is not a part of the SCS site supervisory or H&S team and yet he volunteered to present a toolbox talk on hydration at the ETRC start of shift briefing.
“I was present for the toolbox talk and it was fantastic. Not only was Rayon extremely knowledgeable about the topic, his efforts to engage those listening to his presentation were first class. Directly following the presentation, the entire team took the time to get a drink of water before starting work; this alone was testament to Rayon’s communication skills. A perfect example of living the Safe at Heart Value.”
