Travelodge looking for site in Lyme TRAVELODGE has listed Lyme Regis as a potential site for a new hotel. The hotel chain has listed the Lyme Regis and Seaton area as one of its ‘target’ areas as it expands its property portfolio. Meanwhile, Palmers Brewery has said it is revisiting its plans to redevelop the former Three Cups Hotel, which has stood empty in Broad Street for more than 30 years. REPORT, PAGE 3

Ukraine for the second time this month, having led a convoy of volunteers from his country pub, The Shave Cross Inn, near Bridport, on Monday. They have taken 14 vehicles full of essential supplies and will be helping to ferry refugees out of the country before leaving several of the
vehicles in the country to assist with the war effort. Back home, online raffles, bake sales and collections run by several local businesses are helping to raise funds for humanitarian aid. Uplyme Church has been lit up in yellow and blue, with plans to do the same in Langmoor Gardens in Lyme Regis. SEE FULL REPORTS ON PAGES 6 & 7
