No date for Three Cups development
Kate’s in town!
THE appearance of scaffolding on the front of the former Three Cups Hotel in Lyme Regis has sparked rumours that owners, Palmer’s Brewery, are about to commence the long-awaited redevelopment of the site. But a spokesman for Palmers has told LymeOnline that the scaffolding has gone up on the Grade II Listed Broad Street building - now closed for three decades to carry out repairs and improve the appearance of the exterior of the historic building, which dates back to 1807. There is currently no indication when a start will be made on the main development, which will include retail units, private apartments, a restaurant and letting rooms. FULL REPORT, PAGE 3
