The Annual Campaign Heart for the House is ultimately a heart for people, and it requires courage to hear God’s calling, faith to put it into action and sacrifice in order to bring transformation to communities in the name of Jesus. Learn how Inspire Church is envisioning more for Oahu and beyond.

THE STATE OF HAWAII With a population of over 1.4 million in Hawaii, 20% of people in Hawaii said they don’t believe in God and over 60% don’t attend a church service regularly. This means that there are still 200,000-800,000 people to reach in Hawaii alone. Imagine what it would look like if our Kingdom impact through Heart for the House reached not only those in Hawaii, but people around the world.

CONNECT We currently have over 258 connect groups that meet regularly all over the island of Oahu. However, in order to reach more for Jesus, we want to expand our connect groups throughout all the islands in Hawaii.

When you pray and ask God what you should do to contribute to Heart for the House, know that you are giving to a location who seeks to reach and connect people to continue growing God’s vision for Inspire Church. — Pastor Frank DeGracia

F The tropical islands of Hawaii are known for playing host to some of the world’s most exquisite flowers. From unique princess proteas to fragrant pink plumeria trees, Hawaiian flowers are as diverse and beautiful as the people who inhabit the islands.
The fields are ripe for a harvest. There has never been a greater or more necessary time to build God’s Kingdom and reach those who have yet to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Location Highlight — Inspire Mililani In 2014, God stirred within Pastors Mike and Lisa’s heart to plant a church in Mililani. Four years later, and Inspire Mililani now reaps the blessing of those who gave and continue to give to Heart for the House. Your contributions helped purchase our location and now help create a welcoming environment where people can see God’s hand at work and feel His presence at every service. Within Mililani, we are focused on influencing the next generation with the love of God in junior high schools and high schools. Looking forward, we are contending for a future location on the North Shore to reach more people. Something substantial that has created a shift in our location over the past six months are our weekly prayer walks. Every Saturday morning, staff, interns and dedicated volunteers, walk throughout the Mililani community and pray for breakthrough and change in our families, workplace, communities and nation. The power of prayer is doing more than just activating vision. It’s moving our hearts, turning intentions into actions and seeing our communities change. I’m so excited for this season of Heart for the House. I want to invite you to be a part of the vision and growth happening here, and more importantly, be expectant for all God will do through your giving. — Pastor Clint Chinen

Location Highlight — Inspire Honolulu First, I want to start by thanking you for giving to Heart for the House and allowing Inspire Honolulu to fulfill the vision God has given us. Heart for the House has given Inspire Honolulu the opportunity to create a greater atmosphere for our members, both outside and inside, as well as enhance our KidsVenture classrooms. In the future, we plan on upgrading our outside areas, including our courtyard and KidsVenture area so people feel welcome to fellowship and connect. Inside our sanctuary, we plan on elevating the atmosphere so everyone who comes through our doors can worship and encounter God freely. With these goals, we will continue to grow our location to ultimately reach people, make disciples, and multiply leaders. — Pastor DJ Garces

Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me. Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. —MATTHEW 28:18–19
A Heart for Missions The very fabric of missions beautifully entwines the love of Jesus Christ with an individual’s personal surrender to the call of God on their life. From leading worship with Khmer children in remote villages in Cambodia to helping equip a local church in Bangkok, God consistently reminds me the same Jesus that loves me loves the same people I come into contact with in my everyday life. No social, financial or economic status disqualifies someone from the allconsuming saving grace of Jesus. If 1 Timothy 2:4 says Jesus desires for all to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth, then it’s my responsibility to communicate the very nature and heart of God to the ends of the Earth. — Tracy Higashi MISSIONARY
FROM THEN TO NOW
AS WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE FUTURE, WE BELIEVE WITH EXPECTANT FAITH THAT THE LORD CAN DO FAR BEYOND WHAT WE COULD ASK OR IMAGINE.
PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, THEY WILL FLOURISH IN THE COURTS OF OUR GOD. —Psalm 92:13
WAIKIKI IS THE BIRTHPLACE OF MODERN SURFING AND IS DEEPLY INTERTWINED WITH HAWAII’S RICH HISTORY AND CULTURE. IN THE HAWAIIAN DIALECT, WAIKIKI IS TRANSLATED AS “SPOUTING WAVES.”
It’s not about equal giving but equal sacrifice. This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First He supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow.
