How incredible it is to be celebrating 18 years of Inspire Church as we kick-off our Heart for the House Initiative 2019 – 2020. The Heart for the House Initiative allowed us to lease our first property, now home to our largest location, Inspire Waikele. Your generosity has made it possible for us to purchase the Inspire Mililani location, rent facilities for Inspire Manila and Inspire Honolulu and, now, purchase land in Kapolei.

It is an honor to pastor one of the most vibrant congregations in Hawai'i, reaching and influencing people all over the world for the Kingdom of God. Over the years, we’ve been blown away by the growth and opportunity God has blessed Inspire Church with to seek and save those far from Jesus. But every year, we know there are still more people to reach and more lives to be transformed. Just as God is not done with us yet, we are pushing forward this year to fulfill the vision God has placed on us. United, we believe God can do abundantly more than we could ever dream or imagine.

timeline of Inspire Church

2001 Hope Chapel West O'ahu begins with 60 dedicated members at Waikele Elementary School.

2009 After eight years, by faith— our previous capital initiatives provided us the opportunity to lease a larger permanent space at the Waikele Shopping Center.

2012 Hope Chapel West O’ahu becomes Inspire Church.

2010 By the end of 2010, the church grows to over 2,000 people in average weekly attendance.

Inspire Church purchases a $4.5 million church property in Mililani to meet the expanding needs in Central O’ahu.

2011 A new church plant launches in Metro Manila, Philippines with 75 people.

2014 Inspire Mililani opens with 420 people sent from Waikele. Current average weekly attendance grows to 800 people.

2013 Inspire City in downtown Honolulu launches.

2015 Inspire City launches morning service in new venue at Kaimuki High School and becomes Inspire Honolulu.

2016 A new 10-year lease is signed to secure the Waikele Shopping Center location.

Renovation begins at Inspire Waikele in August 2016.

Inspire Christian College launches Fall 2016.

2017 Completion of phase one construction at Inspire Waikele: new central offices, lounge, and youth ministry space.

Completion of phase two construction at Inspire Waikele: newly renovated sanctuary with theater and mezzanine-level seating to accomodate 1100, lobby, and new cafe.

2018 Inspire Waikele increases services from 5 to 6 with a new Tuesday Night Service.

The Inspire Internship launches their first program with over 60 interns. Inspire Christian College expands its degree programs.

2019 New Playland structure installed at Inspire Waikele.

Inspire Network and Influencers Network launch in October 2019.

Inspire Church surpasses its 2020 goal of 20,000 salvations.

2020 In current negotiation to purchase 6–10 acres of land in Kalaeloa, Kapolei.

A multiplication of campuses and locations — five more in Hawai'i, and two overseas (Asia + West Coast)

Vision Realization prepares us to capitalize on investment opportunities that help leverage the vision of Inspire Church through property investment in the State of Hawai'i. This year, as we approach the final stages of purchasing 6-10 acres of land in Kalaeloa, Kapolei, your support will help make this, and the future, a reality to fulfill the vision of influencing and reaching over 110,000 people through Inspire ventures.

Send Hope International, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was created over a decade ago to spread the Gospel through supporting church plants, pastors and missionaries.

Last year, your generosity helped provide SHI with $95,825 to support church plants and missionaries in the US and around the world including South Africa, South America, and Asia/ Pacific Rim countries.

The resources raised by Inspire is spreading the Gospel and populating Heaven!

Social Concern

We recognize that our church plays an instrumental role in bringing hope and support to people all over Hawai'i. In an effort to end child exploitation, your generosity has supported Ho’ōla Nā Pua, an anti-human trafficking organization in Hawai'i. From $58,838 donated in 2018 to the over $48,000 we are positioned to give in 2019, your overall total donation of $233,046.73 over the past 3 years has helped provide a safe home for rescued girls of human trafficking with medical, educational and emotional support.

Church Council Inspire International dba Inspire Church 94-877 Lumiaina Street, Building 12 Waipahu, Hawaii 96797 Dear Council: For the past five years, we have been engaged to be Inspire Church’s independent auditor.

An audit is a complex process governed by strict national standards. The purpose of an audit is fairly straight forward. The auditor’s responsibility is to express an opinion on the financial statements as to whether they are free from material misstatement. An audit involves performing procedures to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. The procedures selected depend on the auditor’s judgement, including the assessment of the risk of material misstatement. In making this risk assessment, the auditor considers internal control relevant to the preparation and fair presentation of the financial statements but not for the purpose of expressing an opinion on their effectiveness.

An audit also includes evaluating the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of significant accounting estimates as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statement.

Our experience with Inspire has been very favorable over the years. We have not experienced any significant difficulties in conducting our past audits. Further, we have been impressed with Inspire’s good stewardship of the resources it has been blessed with.

We very much appreciate the opportunity for the small indirect hand we have in the church’s vibrant and wonderful ministry .
