and the dedication it takes to be part of one. You always had yellow and black on your mind, it was amazing to see. “Our hearts go out to their families, friends and all those affected by this event, please support them now, as they will need you most. “We lost two Wolves, two of the best.” Trafalgar Football Netball Club, where Mr Semple played in two junior age premierships, also expressed its condolences. “Trafalgar Football Netball Club send our love and support to the Semple family over the sudden passing of Will Semple overnight,” the club posted on its Facebook page. “Will was a member of our 2018
fourths and 2019 thirds premierships and was a well-mannered, kind, happy and popular teammate.” A floral tribute grew yesterday at the crash scene, located about 350m from the Boolarra Avenue intersection. A third man who was in the car at the time of the crash sustained nonlife-threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, which took place in an 80km/h zone. They have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or with further information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by submitting a confidential report online at www.crimestoppers.com.au.

TRIBUTES have flowed as freely as tears for two men killed in a car crash at Newborough on Saturday night. Driver William Semple, 19, of Newborough and passenger Trent Felici, 32, of Moe died when a Holden sedan collided with a tree on John Field Drive, about 10.20pm. Both men were members of the Monash Soccer Club, which led an outpouring of tributes from many in community on social media yesterday. “Today we honour the memory of Will and Trent, beloved Monash Wolves,” the club posted on its Facebook page.
“These two represented the core heart and personality of the Monash club and we will forever be at a loss without them. “Will, you had an amazing charisma and go-getter attitude both on the pitch and around the club. “Always willing to take on extra roles and offer coaching ideas, you gave your all on and off the pitch to bring an amazing set of skills and ideas to the club. “Trent, you were the heart of this club. “Every game, working bee, social event or just at trainings even when you were injured. “You represented the core foundations of what a club should be
