October, with Premier Daniel Andrews announcing an easing of restrictions. Labor Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing applauded locals for “rolling up their sleeve to get the job done”, but urged those yet to get the jab to get their shot as soon as they could. “People from all corners of the Valley have come out in their thousands to get tested and vaccinated,” Ms Shing said. “And we are now gaining ground on

the vaccination rates of other LGAs which shows just how determined we are to get back to doing the things we love, and seeing the people we’ve missed.” More than 120,000 doses were administered in Gippsland community vaccination hubs last week, including 1000 Moderna jabs available to anyone over the age of 12.
