Alumni engagement after graduation Raeann Walquist ’20 STAFF WRITER Making and maintaining a professional network is an important part of post-graduation life; the LVC Office  of Alumni and Parent Engagement is a great resource for students to use after they graduate to help them stay connected. By staying involved after graduation, students benefit both themselves and the livelihood of the

College.   “A strong LVC network benefits  everyone,” Sue Jones, director of alumni & parent engagement, said. “The network can help grads find  their next job or their next employee. The network can influence future  students as they consider colleges and can provide support to current students as they navigate choosing majors, internships and ultimately careers.”

There are many ways students can benefit from the Office of Advancement. Either through LVC social media, volunteering at school events, such as Day of Philanthropy, or by updating the alumni office with  their accomplishments and milestones. “Be proud of your LVC education and yourself,” Jones said. “You’ve earned it.” Membership to the alumni associ-

ation is free. For more information students and alumni can contact the Alumni Office via phone (717867-6320), email (alumni@lvc.edu)  or online form: https://www.lvc. edu/alumni/stay-connected/update-your-information/ Students may also reach out to Jones at sjones@lvc.edu with any  questions.
