TICKETS ON SALE IN SEVEN DAYS!

Can you feel it? There’s finally a chill in the air here in Las Vegas and that can only mean one thing -- the final month of college football’s regular season is upon us! Halloween is now past but the treats keep coming as tickets to our bowl game go on sale November 9. Also, the first official College Football Playoff Rankings were released this week but taking a look at the most recent AP version shows both of our 2022 conferences have a full five teams in the top 25. All five ranked programs from the SEC take up residence in the top 15 and the surging Pac-12 now boasts three of its own members in the top 10! It’s truly the most exciting part of the year for college football fans as our matchup for December 17 draws closer.

Here’s hoping you all had a safe and enjoyable Nevada Day.

EXTRA YARD FOR TEACHERS GRant application

If you know of a Las Vegas Clark County teacher in need of assistance with a class project, have them apply for the Extra Yard for Teachers Grant. The Grant application is available by clicking HERE. Deadline to submit the application is November 30th.

It is ONE NIGHT, ONE TEAM, ONE VEGAS!

One memorable night with fabulous entertainment, auctions for charities, celebrating the best of the best in Las Vegas sports and entertainment moments, and Vegas incredible cuisine and specialty cocktails. SRS DISTRIUBTION CAR GRABS POLL POSITION at LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

College football fans who happened to see the start of the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sat urday, October 15, saw a familiar logo emblazoned across the #16 car in the front row. Sponsor of the #16 car driven by A.J. Allmendinger, is none other than SRS Distribution, the title sponsor of the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. Allmendinger grabbed the poll position for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race with a top speed of 181.720. The Las Vegas Bowl had a presence on the #16 car as well as the bowl logo adorned the top of the Camaro’s trunk.

Las Vegas Bowl HUDDLE ENGAGES WITH THE LAS VEGAS COMMUNITY

In 2017, a small group of sports-minded women came together to launch the Las Vegas Bowl Huddle. Created to support the overall mission of the Las Vegas Bowl in the community, the Huddle focuses annually on elevating the bowl’s presence in the market through community activations, youth football, VIP hospitality and memorable bowl week experiences.

Today, the Huddle is over 40 strong and continues to grow its commitment to the Las Vegas community on a year-round basis. Whether it be through the Extra Yard for Teachers Grant Program or the Youth Football Ambassadors Program the Huddle is dedicated to using the platform of the nationally televised bowl game to better our community. Come bowl week, the Huddle is proud to showcase our home and incredible city to the participating teams through curated VIP experiences, a memorable Ladies Day and ONE VEGAS.

The SEC enters the month of November with two of the six remaining undefeated FBS teams led by No. 1 Georgia and tied-No. 2 Tennessee, but that will be reduced by one as those two meet Nov. 5. The tight SEC West Division race heats up between Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss as the Crimson Tide take on the later two over the next two weeks of the month.

Oregon heads into November in first place in the Pac12, but key matchups await the Ducks with No 12 Utah, Washington and No. 24 Oregon State over the final three weeks of the month. No. 9 USC and No. 10 UCLA are on a collision course for their Nov. 19 showdown in Pasadena. No. 24 Oregon State appears in the top 25 for the first time since they were No. 25 in the 2013 preseason poll.

SEC: The SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl will be among a group of bowls referred to as the “pool of 6” for the #2 selection after the CFP/NY6 (Sugar), and #1 Citrus. The “pool of 6” bowls include Las Vegas, Outback, Music City, Gator, Texas and Liberty.
