t is so pleasant to realize that due to the IMEX Group the first Ralph Lauren boutique in the Caucasian Region was finally opened. Due to our long-term cooperation with the IMEX Group and the decision of the Ralph Lauren company it became possible to present exclusively the photo shoot with the participation of Ralph Lauren and one of his vintage cars on the cover of this issue of the LUXURY magazine. The exclusively provided material about the collection of the vintage cars of Legend of fashion is presented in the LUXURY magazine. The Ralph Lauren has a well planed concept of the organization of opening of its boutiques.

Of course, I was pleased by the fact that Ralph Lauren sends his Ambassador of the brand and the muse to such kind of events. It is Valentina Zelyaeva with whom we worked in 2000s during my joint fashion show with Slava Zaitsev. I am very glad for her success.

It is a great deal of honor to be the Ambassador of the brand and Ralph Lauren’s muse.

lenGrant distillery decided to please collectors and lovers of good whiskey, releasing a limited spill of vintage whiskey distilled in 1964. Single malt whiskey was stored in oak barrels for fifty years and got an unusually balanced taste and noble dark amber. Whiskey was bottled in crystal decanters which are handmade. They were created in the Glencairn Crystal family company. The numeral 50 is applied in gold on each decanter. The neck of the decanters is decorated with elegant engraving.

Its hull geometry ensures superior performance (maximum speed 24 knots and cruising speed 22 knots), as well as significant stability while underway. Noise and vibrations are almost completely eliminated, for enhanced comfort even at higher speeds.

Clean, soaring lines and large tinted oval windows go perfectly with the metallic silver colour of the exterior, silver shades being the dominant colours of the Panthera. On the exterior detailing is gray and the interiors have a sophisticated combination of lighter and darker gray tones. The FB502 has four decks: lower, main, upper, and sun deck. ndré-Gustave Citroën was a French entrepreneur, the founder of the “Citroën” automotive company. He is remembered not only for the make of car named after him, but also for his application of double helical gears. Citroën was born in Paris on February 5, 1878 in a family of a Dutch diamond merchant Levie Citroën of Jewish origin. At the age of six André experiences a personal tragedy - his father commits suicide.

At the same time André and his family inherit a great fortune, but despite having connections in financial circles and diamond dealers, André prefers not to follow his father’s way.André-Gustave Citroën graduated from Polytechnic School and received a degree in Engineering. During the First World War, he produced ammunition for the French army. In 1919 he founded the eponymous “Citroën” car manufacturing company, which in a short time became one of the successful companies in Europe by the beginning of the 1930s.

However, his passion for gambling led to the collapse of the company.

Soon the brand becomes a legendary tire company Michelin. André died in Paris of stomach cancer in 1935.

ttore Bugatti was born in Milan in a family of talented artists in 1881, and his artistic abilities, which he inherited from his parents, Bugatti contributed to the creation of flagship cars. Before entering into the history of the auto industry, Bugatti worked for several pioneer carmakers between 1898 and 1909, and he achieved a reputation for innovative and intelligent engineering solutions. It is these flagship and refined experiments that served Ettore Bugatti to establish his own company in 1910. He built his cars in Molsheim, in Alsace, which was German when he began and French when he ended three decades later. Bugatti’s work was characterized by a unique combination of advanced yet simple engineering and artistic execution of all technical details. His creations are considered pure art by not only automotive experts as well as his admirers.

When he died in Paris in 1947 and there were 7950 Bugatti cars in the world.

erdinand Porsche is one of the most talented engineers in the automotive industry of all times. He is the person who motorists should be grateful to, because he is the creator of the legendary “Beetle” - the most popular model in the history. Certainly his accomplishments do not stop there. He was born on September 3, 1875 in Maffersdorf, Austria. Porshe began his career in his father’s workshop as an apprentice of tinsmith. Later he moved to Vienna and was enrolled as a part-time student at the Imperial Technical University in Reichenberg. In 1898 he went to work for the company Lohner and started the major projects and until 1930 he worked as an engeener in many companies. But in 1931, he founded his own company. Porsche cars have been recognized as the most reliable in the world. Porsche died on January 30, 1951, but his name remains in the history forever.

ottlieb Wilhelm Daimler was a legendary German engineer, industrial designer and industrialist. He was born in Schorndorf on March 17, 1834, in a family of bakers. After graduating from elementary school in 1847, Daimler became an apprentice of gunsmith. In 1857, Gottlieb enrolls at Stuttgart Polytechnic Institute. After graduation, he worked in various European countries. In 1863, when he worked in one of the factories of Reutlingen, he meets a young engineer Wilhelm Maybach, who becomes his business partner for life. Together they created one of the first cars and several variants of gasoline internal combustion engines. His own company, manufacturer of small but powerful motors for use on land, in the sky and the sea, which became the basis for the three-pointed star - the flagship logo of modern Mercedes-Benz, Daimler established in 1890 and named Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft (DMG) createing one of the first “Mercedes” cars, named after the famous racer’s daughter. Gottlieb Daimler died on March 6, 1900.

In essence, he was a solitary man by nature, but he had an ability to rally the others and using the best of their talents to meet his own objectives. Ferrari was born in Modena, Italy on February 18, 1898, and he was raised in a small engineering world. His father ran a metal construction shop and was one of the first motorists in the town. Enzo Ferrari seldom left the region, and after he died, Modena became the symbolic capital of the world of high-performance cars. In 1947, at the age of 49, he founded his own company: Ferrari. Since then, he and his company have become synonymous with sophisticated and powerful racing cars, and even after the death of Enzo in 1988, the company does not lose its influence and it is a frequenter in the world of racing.

alter Owen Bentley, commonly known as W.O. Bentley or just W. O., went down in history as the founder of the British prestigious car, which proudly bears his name for already one hundred years.

W.O. Bentley was born on September 16, 1888 in London in the family of Alfred Bentley, a businessman.

From 1902 to 1905, he attended the Clifton College, a public school in Clifton, Bristol. He left the school at the age of 16 and started to work as an apprentice railway engineer in Yorkshire where he gained knowledge and skill that would later help him create Bentley cars. Almost immediately after the end of the First World War, W.O. and H.M. founded their own car company - Bentley Motors Limited. The first car of the company under the symbol “3L” debuted at the London Motor Show in 1919. Then, one after another appear high-tech models. Income and sales of the car grew steadily. Les 250 ans” will last until 25 January 2015. Two hundred fifty masterpieces are considered to be the icons of glassblowing mastery.

Since 1764 Baccarat has inscribed its name in history with golden letters.

Following the contest, the title of “Miss Georgia” was awarded to a twenty-year-old Ana Zubashvili. The jury consisted of famous figures of the fashion and media industries, and the jury was headed by Ia Kitsmarishvili, the founder of “Image Centre” company.

The first “Miss Georgia” beauty pageant was conducted in 2003 by initiative of “Image Centre” modeling agency. To participate in the competition each year are invited 17-25-year-old girls. After registration the final casting is held, where 20 women are selected who subsequently fight for the title of “Miss Georgia”. According to the tradition, the prize is awarded to the winner as a car from “Toyota Center Tbilisi” deale rship. This time Miss Georgia 2013 Ana Zubashvili became the owner of New Toyota RAV4.

The winner of Miss Georgia 2013 will represent Georgia at various international beauty pageants.

he subsequent private meeting of members of Gentleman Private Club, which is organized by LUXURY GROUP through its founder Ernesto Marco, took place on 22nd of February. This time the most famous representatives of the art, culture, business sphere, embassies gathered in “Brandy House” degustation salon. During the event our guests enjoyed fine cigars, were treated with ten-year-old “Madatoff” brandy. Philip Morris company presented totally new products - cigarette “Parliament Carat”, which corresponds to the high taste of each person and is created especially for fans of modern luxury.

На встрече собрались известные личности нашего города: дипломаты, деятели искусства, бизнесмены. Вечер проводился в дегустационном салоне “Brandy House”. Наши гости наслаждались изысканными сигарами, угощались коньяком “Madatoff” десятилетней выдержки. Во время вечера совершенно новую продукцию представила компания Philip Morris - “Parliament Carat”, которая соответствует высокому вкусу каждого и создана специально для ценителей современной роскоши.
