Ukrainian market responded very quickly to our magazine and thanks to the many requests we released LUXURY UKRAINE a bit earlier. I would only say that LUXURY GROUP will prepare a lot of surprises for its readers in the new year. The most important thing I would like to mention at the end of the year is that the most precious value that we have is our readers and advertisers, who are the most intelligent, well-conditioned, educated and luxurious. LUXURY magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2014 and during that time we matured together and understood the minutes of the luxurious lifestyle better and better. The inspiration for Mulberry became the "story" told by art director Shona Heath: "In the middle of the wood, near the frozen lake, stands the magical Mulberry tree...". The company had an aim to familiarize connoisseurs of fine leather goods with the best choices of gifts for the holidays. As always the brand thought of everything up to the smallest details: handbags and accessories of bright color perfectly set off the white snow and beneficially catch attention of viewers.

Rare Cask 42.6 was named in honor of the percentage of alcohol existing in it - 42.6%. The price of one of such bottles is $ 23 000, and only 738 bottles of this limited edition will be available in the market. Decanters of this superb cognac are made from Baccarat crystal. Their neck is decorated with a ring of 24-carat pink gold with a mark.

Each has a black crystal decanter stopper. 1200 different varieties of cognac were mixed together and then were drawn for over a century in special casks called "Tiercons". According to the degustators, this cognac is famous for its notes of plums and figs, slightly tingling taste of gingerbread, dried prunes and ginger, gently dissolving in a light aroma of tobacco leaves.

Macallan 55-Year-Old a Spicy rose

acallan 55-Year-Old whisky was distilled in an oak sherry barrel. This single malt whiskey was then bottled in a Lalique Crystal Decanter, made by Rene Lalique who created a similar perfume bottle in 1910. The drink has a dark rosewood color that exudes a nice smell that similar to peat smoke and sweet dried fruits. While the soft and smooth taste had a hint of citrus.

It was also noted to be a bit spicy.

When Janet Sheed Roberts, the granddaughter of Glenfiddich’s founder William Grant, passed away at the ripe age of 110, the company decided to honor her by making 15 bottles from the above said barrel, four of which are kept by the family. The whisky is acclaimed for its floral, fruity and sweet taste.

Interestingly, it was here in 1898 that the first escalator in Britain appeared. "House of Dreams" is so-called huge trade space Saks and Gimbles. rmenegildo Zegna debuts its new Global Store at 337 North Rodeo Drive relocating eighteen years after the opening of the previous location at 301 North Rodeo where the brand established itself as synonymous with quality and excellence.

Designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, the store showcases the Ermenegildo Zegna collections within more than 5 800 square feet of luxury selling space. All of Ermenegildo Zegna’s diverse offerings are displayed within the store’s three floors, ranging from formalwear and sportswear to accessories and fragrances, including the Zegna Sport collection.

A key inspiration for the store design is the fabric created at Zegna’s eponymous wool mill in Trivero, Italy for over one hundred years. The store is one of three US stores to offer the Couture collection designed by new Head of Design, Stefano Pilati. Famous actors Gerard Butler, Edward Norton, Jeremy Renner, Sharon Stone and musician Gavin Rossdale joined Zegna for the evening’s celebration. Gildo Zegna and Stefano Pilati hosted an in-store cocktail.

The evening continued as Gildo Zegna and Stefano Pilati invited guests for a special exhibition and dinner at the JF Chen design gallery where they discovered the new Ermenegildo Zegna brand direction.

t the beginning of December the opening of the luxurious champagne bar CHARTE BAR took place in the heart of trendy shopping and entertainment centre OceanPlaza in Kiev. Sophisticated format of the new institution of the manufacturer of classical sparkling wines "Artemovsk Winery" continues the tradition of the leading world trade centers such as New York, London, Milan, Berlin and Paris, where in the break of endless fittings and shopping, you can have a rest and enjoy a refreshing sparkling in the champagne bar. The wine list CHARTE BAR is the entire ocean of the company’s sparkling wines as well as wines of Burgundy and Bordeaux, manufactured in France upon the order of "Artemovsk Winery".

The feature of the facility is that the price of sparkling wine is sufficiently democratic, without restaurant margins. Now such a magnificent gift is received by the residents and guests of Kiev. Grand opening of the new champagne bar became a real surprise for guests of the shopping centre. The ceremony of cutting the red ribbon was entrusted to the chief Auditor of the country, a popular TV presenter Olga Freimut.

n the 28th November under the informational support of LUXURY GROUP there was an event on the occasion of the opening of the personal exhibition "SOS.OK" of the famous Russian artist Olga Lomaka at the Contemporary art Center "M-17" in Kiev. The event was attended by representatives of the Kiev Beau Monde, politicians and stars of show business and other celebrіties and VIPs. Project "SOS.OK" consists of a collection of 19 paintings and one installation. They transmit artistic eroticism of women.

These objects of art fully convey a sense of femininity, desire and simultaneously poetry. After the presentation of the project "SOS.OK" in Kiev, the exhibition, which was previously exhibited in Moscow, is sent to London, where it will be presented to the European contemporary art lovers.

n the 3rd December under the informational support of LUXURY GROUP there was an event of international significance that combined the luxury of famous brand S.T.DUPONT with one and a half century-old traditions and exquisite classical ballet "Swan lake". It took place at the National Opera of Ukraine in Kiev. The outstanding event brought together the most influential people of Ukraine: businessmen, representatives of show-business and art, fashion industry. The collection "Haute Creation", which includes the complete set of exclusive limited-edition items from S.T.DUPONT, was exhibited especially for the guests of the evening. "Haute Creation" is the highest degree of luxury belonging to the high class and art, recreated, in accordance with one and half centuries of tradition and impeccable craftsmanship.
