When renowned architect, and real estate developer, Mark Humphreys showed his then-fiancee, Emily, the land he purchased, she was in awe. She stood there, jaw dropped, and said, “Oh my God! Mark! This is the entrance of 30A. You better not mess this up!”

Humphreys smiles when he thinks about that vote of encouragement from the love of his life. Emily may be his greatest love, but Rosemary Beach has had his heart from the beginning. Owning one of the first homes built on the north-side of 30A, Humphreys has loved Rosemary Beach since long before it was the tourism meca that it is now. It was his dream to one day develop luxury rentals at affordable pricing in the area. His real estate development company, Atticus Real Estate, did just that. The Pointe, a luxury boutique-style resort located at the intersection of Highway 98 and Scenic Hwy 30A in Inlet Beach, has attracted visitors from all over the southeast since 2017.

After his three daughters, The Pointe is Humphreys’s pride and joy. His architecture company, Humphreys & Partners, designed it. His interior design company, HPA Design Group, outfitted the units with high-end furnishings. His landscaping company, HPA Landscaping, designed the gorgeous greenery on the property.

As an entrepreneur and developer at his core, Humphreys knew eventually he would sell the condos at The Pointe.

Sales at The Pointe had obstacles to overcome: being on the market years before, without any movement; loans would be non-warrantable and undesirable to lenders; and rental projections for 2020 had been thrown off by a pandemic causing travel shut-down.

Vice President of Marketing for the Humphreys family of companies Tanya Rauch, had worked with many real estate agents over her years in marketing the Emerald Coast, but Domenech had always stood out as the guy who got it done, no matter what it took. He is an overcomer and a professional motivator. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and World Champion, he’s also a productivity coach with 30 Mornings, sits on the board of directors for Opportunity Place, a local homeless shelter for women and children, and is of course, a local real estate leader.

When it came time to select the agent that would lead The Pointe through its next phase, Domenech presented his luxury brand, American Luxury, and the thorough steps he would take to list the condos: professional photography, 3-D virtual tours, a property packet with everything a buyer would need to know (including preferred lenders to write those non-warrantable loans), billboards, magazine ads, a dedicated webpage, and a team of professionals to accomplish whatever it would take to push the closings through the finish line.

“Paul is a fabulous Realtor, ” says Humphreys. “He’s done what not a lot of agents do, and that’s keep in mind what’s best for the developer.”

At the time of writing, The Domenech Group and Atticus Real Estate together have 23 condos sold or under contract. “It’s about finding solutions." says Domenech. "I never go to my clients with problems - only solutions. My goal has always been to maximize the investment for my clients, whether I’m selling a $200,000 house in Ft. Walton Beach, or a $2,000,000 home on 30A. It’s the same concept with both. My process can be applied to any listing. It’s not easy, but it’s simple.”
