Welcome to Luther College. Located on the beautiful University of Regina campus, Luther offers U of R degrees in the Arts; Sciences; Media, Art, and Performance; and an array of excellent pre-professional options.

As a Luther student, you’ll take classes all across campus, and access all U of R services, but you’ll also get the extra services reserved especially for our students. Our academic advisors and enrollment counsellors will work closely with you and help you navigate through your university journey. Infectious diseases are the world’s greatest killers, accounting for more than 13 million deaths annually, and the continuing spread of antibioticresistant bacteria is an emergent threat to public health. My research aims to understand how pathogens infect their hosts in order to develop new strategies to combat diseases. Luther College enables strong mentor-student interactions allowing me to train and prepare a new generation of leaders who will rise to these challenges.”

English-Science Bundle

Uniquely designed for Biology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry majors and pre-professional health science students, our popular English-Science Bundle prepares students for advanced study in the health sciences. Students are well-positioned to apply to many professional programs.

You’ll study in a cohort of like-minded peers, receive close professorial mentorship, and your university English class is designed to appeal to Science students like yourself!

Entrance counselling support and oneon-one academic advising are available for all programs in Science.

I chose Luther because of the specialized support available to Luther students. The additional scholarship opportunities and academic advising allowed me to improve not only my grades but my extra-curriculars as well. The advisors helped me choose and register for classes as a new student, and understand admissions criteria for graduate school more recently. Belonging to the Luther community of faculty, staff, and students is also very helpful when trying to build connections and navigate university life, and through those connections I learned about opportunities that have helped me excel as a Luther and University of Regina student.”

Students with a passion for media, art, music, and theatre will discover like-minded souls at Luther College. Here, you can pursue programs in Fine Arts, Music, Creative Technologies, and Music Education.

I chose to study music at Luther College because it is a small college that offers a close-knit community. The faculty and staff provide great support to their music students by offering many music-specific scholarships. Luther provides a great resource in music history with the classes taught by amazing professors.”

$100,000 Luther College Awards

We are committed to student success and offer nearly $100,000 in awards to entering and continuing Luther College students each year. This is in addition to the scholarships and bursaries awarded by the University of Regina, and available to all Luther College students.

Strong writing skills are important at university and throughout life. Our dedicated WAD Coordinator develops writing-specific assignments and delivers student workshops, lectures, and one-on-one instruction throughout the year.

Luther College nurtures intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth for students of all faiths and backgrounds. Our chapel is often buzzing with meaningful conversation and soulful discussion with our Chaplain, students, faculty, and staff.

How to Register Through Luther

College at the University of Regina

Luther students are U of R students. To receive the benefits of Luther College during your U of R degree, simply fill out the University of Regina application form and select Luther as your campus of study. You’ll still be able to study campus-wide, and access services for everyone, but you’ll get the extra services reserved only for our students.
