Welcome to The Student Village at Luther College!
Living in housing at Luther, you’ll have both privacy and community, meaning that you’ll have a room to call your own and plenty of opportunities to socialize and make friends. With access to exclusive social events, a short commute to class, relaxing common spaces, meal plans, and our support in making the transition from high school to university as smooth as possible, The Student Village is affordable and convenient — the perfect option for all students.
You don’t have to be a Luther student to live in The Student Village. Students from any post-secondary institution are welcome!
Living here is more affordable than living off-campus. Plus, you can wake up minutes before class and still make it on time (although we don’t suggest it!). We know that tuition and the cost of living can be financially stressful for you, which is why we offer flexible payment options, scholarships, and financial services. Just talk to our enrolment advisors and they can help you from application to graduation.

The Student Village is an amazing place for personal growth to occur. For me, social anxiety has always been a big struggle; however, the people here and the staff alike have made me more comfortable than I could have imagined in a new environment. The Residence Assistants work hard to provide fun and free events to those in The Student Village, like pizza and karaoke or laser tag and the staff supports the residents and ensures our safety, allowing us to always feel safe. I can’t imagine living anywhere else!”

Residence Fees
Residence fees include utilities and all the benefits of living in The Student Village. You can pay in full or make four equal payments due on the first of each month throughout the semester. Residents are required to select one of three meal plan options ranging from 10 to 19 meals per week, or a declining balance meal card.

Skip the groceries — the Luther Cafeteria takes the stress out of cooking! The all-you-care-to-eat style buffet is available seven days a week, and we offer multiple meal plans.
Residents love gathering for homestyle meals like the weekend brunch buffet, lasagna, ribs, and Sunday family-style dinners.
Community Kitchen
Meals are meant to be enjoyed amongst friends! The new community kitchen gives you the opportunity to share your favourite recipes, try new food, bake cookies with friends, or host “Friendsgiving.”
