Hampton is an ET bull we purchased in 2014. His sire is an outcross to most Canadian pedigrees, and his dam is a dark red donor cow who has herself been recognized as Elite since 2012. Hampton will moderate frame, add eye appeal and has a strong maternal background. There is no question his claim to fame are the phenomenal replacement heifers he has left us. We are excited to see them prove themselves as the first set are due to calve this spring.

We purchased Archie for $12,750 after seeing his brother “Tuff Enuff” lead off Six Mile’s sale the year before. We were impressed by his 41cm scrotal as a yearling and his moderate 81 pound birth weight. Archie’s bull calves certainly rose to the top of the bull pen. Unfortunately we lost Archie after one breeding season due to an injury, so take advantage of these great genetics while they are available.

Caesar is a moderate framed bull with a very nice phenotype.

This is very typical of his granddam 908W who produced one of our feature bulls in last year’s sale. He is recommended for cows and large framed heifers.

435C is a moderate framed bull that I would recommend for use on cows. He has a full brother that is coming along quite nicely in our yearling pen. His grandmother, 651R has left us with several replacement females over the years and is due to have her 11th calf this spring.

Copenhagen is a very correct bull that has the performance to be used on cows, but the BW and calving ease to be turned out with your heifers. Calving ease and performance run deep in these bloodlines.

Cash is dark red, just like his mother. We purchased his dam as a calf from Top Grade Red Angus and she’s been producing here ever since. Cash has a nice balance of calving ease and performance, but he’s recommend as a cow bull.

There is longevity built into his bloodlines as his dam, 651R is part of the original package of bred heifers we purchased from L4 Ranches of Standard, AB to start our purebred herd. She is due to give us her 11th calf this spring.

Shona 71W was one of my favorite cows. She stifled herself last year so this will be the last bull offered from her. Chaos has a little more BW, but also offers more performance to go with it.

Cisko is the growthiest bull of the four Hampton sons we have on offer. He offers a little more frame than his brothers, but is still a more moderate animal.

With the addition of Havoc in his pedigree I would look for some very correct udders on his daughters. Recommended as a cow bull.

INSPECTION & SEMEN TESTING - All sale bulls will be palpated, measured and inspected by a licensed vetrinarian prior to the sale. Semen testing will be done after the sale weather permitting. If the bull in question fails to pass a semen test, conducted by our veterinarian, Lust Farms will retain ownership of the bull in question and provide a full refund to the purchaser. Refunds will be for the purchase price, no more.

TERMS - The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par to Lust Farms, 11405 Range Road 42, Cypress County, AB T1B 0K6 by Mar 15, 2017.

BIDS - All bids are to be placed in good faith. Please ensure that your bid amount is correct and placed on the proper sale lot. Bids cannot be reversed once they are entered.

PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as it is sold.

WINTERING - All animals will be wintered at no charge until delivery. Prior arrangements must be made if the bull is to stay any longer than May 1, 2017 and may be subject to a boarding fee.

DELIVERY - Free delivery within a 200km radius of Medicine Hat, AB or the nearest port of entry. Deliveries will begin after April 1, 2017 at our earliest convenience.

REGISTERED LOTS - A certificate of registry will be mailed to the buyer for each animal after settlement is made and the bull passes his semen test. All bulls sell under the terms and conditions of the Canadian Angus Association’s Breeders Guarantee.

GENERAL - Lust Farms reserves the right to cancel or postpone the auction if we deem such action is necessary.

LIABILITIES - All persons viewing sale cattle at Lust Farms do so at their own risk and the seller assumes no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents occurring on the premises.
