Lusive was founded in Los Angeles in 2002 as a design-based manufacturing firm by husband + wife design team, Sally Thomas Cooper and Jason Kai Cooper.

Having worked in film, theme park and entertainment design, Sally and Jason saw an opportunity to create authentic hand crafted designs that paired skilled artisans and material sources with modern manufacturing and project management techniques to undertake the most challenging design concepts the architectural community could envision.

Over the years Lusive has become a leader in all areas of our business, offering lighting solutions for hospitality projects – both public area feature lighting and guestroom fixtures - and commercial and residential applications.

Consistently researching new materials, we work worldwide to offer a diverse and exclusive selection of finishes and specialized vendors. By sourcing locally and from Italy, Austria, Brazil, India, The Philippines, and beyond, and by developing and training our in-house artisans in new skills and techniques, we can provide distinctive options and a level of quality and originality that is unique in the lighting industry.
