In a former life, this elegant property was the estate of a legendary Gilded Age hostess. Today, the original brick and limestone Renaissance-style palazzo is complemented by a shimmering 24-story modern glass tower. For our long time partner MBDS we created layers of lighting to complement the rich assemblage luxury of the restarurant and lounge experiences. Ground floor fine dining at Cafe Carmellini.

We are thrilled to have partnered again with Quality Branded - kings of the NYC hotspot - to create drama and illumination at Limusina in Hudson Yards. GRT Architects transformed an old three-story garage into a retro-modern playground with raw concrete columns, peach-and-amber tones and enough texture to make Studio 54 blush. The contradictions work as a tribute to late ’70s New York—the glamorous and the gritty, side by side and the LUSIVE Team are proud to have created luxurious fixtures to illustrate all the personalities of the spaces - tiers of texture across the main dining rooms, elegant geometric accents in the private dining rooms and a glowing sculptural accents in the magical mescal vault. We love to be part of the heart of the Big Apple!

Step into the lobby at Park Terrace Hotel on Bryant Park step into a calm oasis away from the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan.
To mirror the foliage of the nearby park Lusive created a verdant canopy of lush, laser cut golden bronze leaves to welcome you home.

For this sensational Avra location in midtown, Rockwell Group created a sleek and sexy destination for the ‘see and be seen’ clientele of celebrities and industry titans. The focal point - a lighting moment of course! An undulating row of dramatic, overscale ‘fan’ shades with natural bamboo spokes, satin bronze frames with clever up/down lighting to float mysteriously over the endless bar – itself highlighted with scalloped bar top lamps.
AT MIDTOWN Din Tai Fung Broadway

From humble beginnings in Taiwan in 1958, the Din Tai Fung family restaurant has grown to 150 locations in 13 different countries. Din Tai Fung Midtown is the franchise’s first East Coast location and is currently their largest constructed to date, clocking in at an impressive 25,000 square feet that seats 450 guests at any given time - designed by NY-based Rockwell Group. or this latest location we created multiple configurations of streamlined, layered fabric shades and modern lantern silhouettes create warmth and atmosphere throughout. Now all you have to do is work out how to get a reservation….

Stacked rings and overscale laser cut drum pendants of illuminated bronzes reflect planes of marble, natural bronzes and sophisticated natural stone –enveloping inhabitants in a luxury living experience – welcome home!

5 Beekman Street was historically part of New York City’s first theater district. Built in 1761, the theater hosted the first performance of Hamlet in the US. And from the moment the Thompson Group renovated the Beekman Hotel in 2016, the property has continued this sense of dramatic flare as one of New York City’s cool go-to hot spots with moody and theatrical bars and restaurants fit for any diva! We were thrilled to collaborate on the pop up ‘Alley Cat Theater Bar’ in the bowels of the original building with sultry, Deco-inspired fixtures amid velvet sofas and wood paneling – a backdrop fit for any diva!

Located in the historic South Street Seaport area in Downtown Manhattan, CARNE MARE is a contemporary, metropolitan take on the simple steak houses and seafood restaurants of Venice. In another collaboration with MBDS we followed their design aesthetic of sophisticated industrial fin de siècle – producing glowing lanterns, accent lamps on luxurious marble bar tops, sexy sconces and large scale chandeliers in tones of bronze and brass to accentuate a palette of burnt oranges and pale yellows, with leather banquettes and stunning parquet floors creating a design experience from the ground floor bar, up the grand sweeping staircase and throughout the glamorous main dining rooms.
Modern, yet timeless – as if Carne Mare has always existed….

At the heart of it all – where Broadway meets at one of the most recognizable intersections in the world – are a plethora of hotels at all prices and styles. Creating features to grab the eye amidst flashing billboards and city lights is a challenge – and we rose to it with linear dichroic pendants inspired by neon signs, beehive-like bronze and brass lanterns and clusters of bulbs on polished chrome arms like 1940s industrial fixtures; all coming together to join in the celebration that is TIMES SQUARE!
TheOpus Westchester
AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION
We were proud to work with New York based CELANO DESIGN to create signature lighting for the public spaces and 146 guestrooms and luxury suites throughout this new addition in the heart of Westchester.
To reflect an ambiance of relaxed, eclectic urban glamor Lusive produced large scale features in clean, luxe materials throughout the Art Deco–inspired lobby, restaurants and ballrooms; gestures in crystal and hand blown glass with masculine silhouettes in bold colors.
Throughout the guestrooms and suites we offered charming accents with curvaceous motifs in tones of ambers smokes and bronzes – functional and beautiful!

Creating beautiful, functional lighting at one of the world’s busiest airports is not to be taken lightly – if you’ll excuse the pun!
One of hundreds of commercial installations Lusive has created, the highperformance feature lighting at Delta Sky Club lounge includes elegant linear pendants rippling through seating areas and modern branch fixtures and bubble clusters in sleek metals and glass – creating exciting focal points for the thousands of passengers passing through.
HUDSON VALLEY Resorts World Casino
Designer: Dash Design New York
Tucked amid the leafy drives and wineries of the beautiful Hudson Valley north of Manhattan – this character-filled country cousin to Resorts World in Queens, NY opened in 2022 near the town of Newburgh. With organic patterns and treatments to mimic the rustic location + some clever pops of sparkle and color, experience an unexpected taste of Vegas just outside The Big Apple!
