Since we founded LUSIVE 20+ years ago we have grown from a team of two dreamers imagining the future from our kitchen table in East LA to an internationally known design and manufacturing powerhouse with teams of designers, engineers and artisans.

We have collaborated on feature lighting for thousands of projects across the world From 10 room boutique hotels to 6 Star casinos, sleek-lined modern suites to glistening palaces.

We have... explored and envisioned, dreamt and designed, creating friendships and collaborations that ascend the day to day.

CASE STUDY: THE LINE HOTEL DC

Designer: INC/NYC and Sydell Group

For this fascinating reimagination of a 110-yearold Neoclassical church in the heart of Adams Morgan, we were presented with a distinctive challenge – engineer an illuminated sculpture in the two story nave, utilizing components from the ancient church pipe organ.

A shipment of original zinc organ pipes arrived to our factory door - in various lengths and conditions - and our design and engineering team brainstormed the layout and structure needed to suspend and illuminate the components to create a modern, open mobile-like feature.

In our long partnership with Hard Rock Café we have designed light features in a myriad of forms and materials for their international flagship locations.

In Antwerp – historically the home to all major diamond mining companies – only a massive gem-inspired feature would do!

Close to the Diamantkwartier diamond district, this 14’ high one-of-a-kind open network of facets in Plated Antique Bronze with illuminated Seeded Glass Globes floats dramatically at the center of the two-story bar and dining areas.

One of many feature lighting moments we created at this stunning property perched on the edge of Vancouver Harbor, the ACADIA feature marries modern sparkle and glamor with the natural.

The silhouettes of three ‘chandeliers’ of raindrop crystal strands float along a 15’ canopy like shimmering cloud banks across the harbor, ethereal and ghostly...and glamorous!

Glittering feature chandeliers with wrapped ombre tiers of Clear, Champagne and Amber Austrian Crystal Triadri rods cascading from Plated Bronze Canopies lead guests as they ascend through the palatial entry to the Main Showroom at this sumptuous Sin City venue.

Completed in 2006 as a $40 million dollar addition to the vast Venetian Hotel Resort and Casino, and patterned after the famed Gaillard Opera House in Paris, the theatre was designed to house Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular, an adaptation of Phantom of the Opera.

CASE STUDY: CARNE MARE STEAKHOUSE, NYC

Located in the historic South Street Seaport area in Downtown Manhattan, CARNE MARE is a contemporary, metropolitan take on the simple steak houses and seafood restaurants of Venice. In another collaboration with MBDS we followed their design aesthetic of sophisticated industrial fin de siècle - producing glowing lanterns, accent lamps on luxurious marble bar tops, sexy sconces and large scale chandeliers in tones of bronze and brass to accentuate a palette of burnt oranges and pale yellows, with leather banquettes and stunning parquet floors creating a design experience from the ground floor bar, up the grand sweeping staircase and throughout the glamorous main dining rooms.

Modern, yet timeless - as if Cane Mare has always existed...
