How can one city be called both Fog City and The Golden City...
One answer: The Light!

UPTOWN Broadway Kissel Broadway Kissel
Designer: Parisa O’Connell Design
Step out of the sweeping Beaux-Arts architecture along Broadway’s Auto Row and into the lobby of this reimagined beauty and you are cocooned within a palette of natural woods and marbles, with sumptuous wool carpets and custom art work adding warmth and whimsy
From expansive ground floor to airy rooftop bar, Lusive created de-lightful feature lighting in hand blown, jewel toned glass and sumptuous natural brass and bronzes to enhance the soaring ceilings and city views and create a haven from the bustle of Uptown Oakland.

AT 30 OTIS
Located at the gateway of San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods, this new luxury complex is the epitome of high-end condo living. Art Deco industrial silhouettes meld deep bronze metals with expanses of natural wood, luxurious leather and marble accents to create spaces that are modern yet timeless, masculine and moody.
Lusive created counterpoints throughout the Lobby and restaurant and bar with shimmering sweeps of glass and crystal, adding sparkle and glamor to enhance your fabulous view of SoMa, The Mission and Castro.

Set amid the tranquility of the northern California coastline, the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay is a five star resort perched dramatically on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
With elegant, airy interiors to reflect and enhance the fabulous vistas, Lusive created transitionally styled illuminated focal points – clusters of opal and cristale clear blown glass and warm linens paired with satin bronze and copper, cascading strands of natural, tumbled quartz ‘rock crystal’ beads in open frames blend within cool colors and patterns of fabrics and furnishings to create the perfect environ to relax and recharge!

Designer: HBA Hirsch Bedner Associates
Situated atop Nob Hill in a landmark building dating back to 1909, the renovation of this elegant property captures the timelessness of the Bay Area’s most iconic city.
The HBA Design team and Lusive artisans created lighting to enhance the classic lines and signature spaces – graceful cristale chandeliers with accents of smoke fumee amid columns of Boticcino Beige and Pietra Grey Italian marble throughout the lobby lead to luxurious tiered features in plated bronzes and diaphanous frosted glass in the lounges.
Hark back to times past in a harmonious and urbane home away from home on The Hill!

Westin St.Francis UNION SQUARE
Designer: Kevin Joyce Design
A San Francisco landmark since 1904, this grande dame has a long and storied history, hosting countless royalty, celebrities and politicians over the last century. Kevin Joyce and his team took this beauty’s classic bones and uplifted her with fresh illuminating details – from the shrouded crystal chandeliers in the soaring lobby to transitional pendants with opal glass globes, silk shades and warm bronzes throughout the dark wood paneling and leather of the famed Oak Room restaurant and Bourbon Steakhouse.
What an honor to be part of the next chapter in the life of a true original!
SAN FRANCISCO Intercontinental Intercontinental
Designer: EDG Design
At the heart of the city near Moscone Center and Union Square, this cool customer fits right in.
EDG Design created refined spaces that embody chic with design ‘moments’ throughout, while Lusive created special ‘wow’ factors: overscale origami-inspired pendants with cleverly engineered pleated silk panels in warm amber tones for the Michelin-starred Luce Restaurant and clusters of organic raw linen shades at hipster hangout Bar 888.

Designer: Dawson Design
We’ve got to have some fun and think outside the creative box with the design team at Dawson Design on this whimsical wonder! In a city of bold contrasts and timeless originals, this creative SoMa hotel is fresh and vibrant stopping point in cutting-edge Union Square.
Cascading tiers of upcycled eyeglasses create an unexpected visual over the bar and lounge – of the myriad lighting materials the Lusive team have used over our 20 years, this was a first! – and a carousel of interlocking polished chrome elements drifts over swathes of wood and marble at the double high open dining areas. We love to take part in bringing a daring, innovative vision to light!
PALO ALTO Four Seasons Four Seasons
Designer: Gensler
Nestled in Silicon Valley, the Four Seasons Palo Alto offers a sophisticated urban getaway amid the maelstrom of VC deals and luxury residential neighborhoods.
Lusive worked with the Gensler design team to create luxurious transitional features to illuminate the warm woods and accent furnishings of chocolate browns and indigo blues - clusters of gold leafed frames with points of sparkle throughout the lobby and smoke globe clusters in the casual dining room make moments to remember. Linear blades of warm metals in the meeting areas and streamlined groupings of glowing alabaster in the ballrooms add warmth to the most somber of business events and the most joyous of celebrations!
