This publication of the Utica Institute Museum was printed in 2021 and is made available by the Utica Institute Museum. It contains the history of the Utica Campus of Hinds Community College. Located near Utica, Mississippi, the campus was formerly Utica Normal & Industrial Institute, Hinds Agricultural High School, and Utica Junior College. The Utica Campus is part of the Hinds Community College District. It is the only HBCU in the six-campus district. This publication tells the story of the transition from Utica Normal & Industrial Institute to its present status.
