Sticks’n’Sushi is Denmark’s premier and most renowned sushi restaurant, having established several successful locations. Lumega has proudly contributed to some of their most iconic venues, such as the sky bar with restaurant in Copenhagen. In close collaboration with the architect, we have created several captivating lighting concepts that enhance the overall atmosphere.
In Rødovre, Denmark, a large residential project took shape, with the architect’s vision truly standing out as the most remarkable aspect. Lumega played a vital role by supplying all luminaires in a beautiful dark red shade, perfectly complementing the wall bricks.
Lumega has played a significant role in designing and delivering the lighting solution for this project. The renowned NS50 linear light, known for its uniform illumination without any dark areas, has been selected as the primary luminaire. Additionally, the NS47 pendant light has also been incorporated, further enhancing the overall lighting design.
For retail lighting, adhering to strict corporate identity (CI) regulations is crucial. In the case of Humac, a certified Apple reseller, it is essential that the lighting installation aligns seamlessly with that of an Apple store. Customers should always be able to recognize the similarity in retail design among all Apple resellers.
Industrial lighting encompasses various types, but one common characteristic is the typically high energy consumption. However, there is significant potential for reducing electricity bills in this sector. By implementing the right LED lighting solutions, energy savings can range from 30% to 60%. When combined with smart sensors, these savings can even reach up to 70%, resulting in a return on investment (ROI) of less than 2 years.
Anneberg Transport had outdated T8 fluorescent tubes installed. Recognizing the need for an upgrade, they opted for a retrofit solution, which involved a 1:1 replacement with new LED tubes.
It is important to note that by the end of 2023, fluorescent tubes will be phased out of the market, necessitating prompt action to transition to more efficient lighting alternatives.
The Ferrari and Maserati showroom in Lyngby, Denmark stands as one of the largest official Ferrari showrooms in Northern Europe. Spanning over 3,000 m2 and encompassing three floors, this impressive building even showcases the renowned Pagani supercar on one of its floors. Lumega has proudly served as the primary lighting supplier for this project, working closely in collaboration with Ferrari.
The showroom’s lighting concepts are tailored to each floor and the showcased cars. From the workshop area to the exquisite main showroom, Lumega’s involvement encompasses high-quality downlights, linear lights, linear strips, showcase lighting, spotlights, and general lighting for the lounge. Ensuring utmost attention to detail, all lighting solutions boast exceptional light quality, further enhancing the overall ambiance of the showroom.
We have successfully collaborated with AlphaLED on multiple projects featuring our highly exclusive downlights, which utilize the renowned Xicato LED module.
Xicato is recognized for its consistent light quality. These projects have been carried out over a period of time, with the majority of them located in the UK and Spain.
One of our standout projects focuses on low UGR (low glare) lighting, which is crucial for the building’s purpose as one of the largest martial arts facilities in Northern Europe. Lumega is the exclusive lighting manufacturer involved. The selected luminaires include NS13 downlights, NS47 surface-mounted lights with honeycomb diffusers, and LEDs with the highest lm/W efficiency. In addition to these luminaires, we have also developed special-designed lighting solutions to meet the unique requirements of the space.
Fluorescent tube lighting in parking garages is being replaced with LED lighting, as all fluorescent tubes will be phased out by the end of 2023. There are numerous excellent LED lighting solutions available for parking garages, offering enhanced safety and significant energy savings. This specific parking garage is one of over 100 projects in our portfolio. Lumega is the leading lighting manufacturer in northern Europe, with extensive experience in providing lighting solutions for parking garages. We offer a range of options, from cost-effective solutions to advanced lighting systems incorporating smart sensor technology and data inputs.
The private hunting lodge in Bogense, Denmark is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, with some claiming it to be the most stunning in all of Scandinavia. Lumega has been involved in the lighting design and complete supply for this project, providing a range of lighting solutions including in-ground lamps, track lighting, and spotlights. We take great pride in the quality of the lighting we delivered, contributing to the overall ambiance and beauty of the lodge.
The former police station on Howitzvej underwent renovations between 2017 and 2021. The building holds a listed status, adding an extra layer of challenge to the renovation process, particularly in certain areas. Currently, the building serves multiple purposes, including being utilized by Copenhagen Business School and SIH as a course center. The lighting installations throughout the facility are custom-made, tailored to meet the specific requirements of the different spaces.
This remarkable building, known as K31, is situated in Holbæk Harbor, right by the waterfront. It stands tall with its 17 floors and offers a collection of luxurious apartments. The architectural design of this magnificent structure was masterfully crafted by Juul Frost Arkitekter.
The lighting solutions incorporate a combination of round and square-shaped surface-mounted LED luminaires, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the space. Additionally, linear luminaires were strategically installed to provide effective illumination for the parking area.
Maanesten’s stores have a completely unique style that reflects the target audience for their jewelry. Their impressive growth is not a coincidence. With ongoing store openings across Denmark, their sights are set on conquering the US market next. Lumega is the main supplier of the lighting, providing a blend of recessed spots and track spots. This concept has paved the way for a scalable solution in retail lighting, delivering both reliability and energy efficiency.
Hundreds of luminaires with Circadian lighting were installed in this project. The CCT change was specifically selected to aid in healing and create an optimal environment for rehabilitation.
At Rotpunkt, Lumega collaborated closely with the interior designer to gain a thorough understanding of the store’s layout in order to achieve the best customer flow. This allowed the lighting designer to test various solutions, focusing on aspects such as light distribution, light quality, and functionality. Lumega implemented cooler lighting with exceptional color rendition, ensuring that the colors of the products being sold appear more true-to-life, thereby significantly increasing sales. Through effective store layout, we created a seamless flow where the lighting guides customers on their journey. The overall shopping experience forms a cohesive whole.
Lumega has provided high-tech LED RGBW (4000K) lamps, capable of not only switching between millions of different colors but also complying with the building’s strict energy efficiency standards. Lumega’s NS60 luminaires have been widely utilized in this project.
Lumega’s renowned NS60 LED panel luminaire is a key component of a custom-made solution specifically designed for Sparekassen Holbæk’s ceilings. Our luminaire has been utilized as a lighting source in both the office areas and meeting rooms. Its sleek and minimalist design seamlessly complements the ceiling tiles. Lumega has taken special care in designing the front glass to extend all the way to the edges, creating a frameless appearance when the fixtures are combined into a large screen, as demonstrated in Sparekassen’s marketplace located at the heart of the office.
Ditur was founded by Mikkel and Kasper Dissing, and the company gained significant recognition through its participation in the Danish TV program “Løvens Hule”. During the show, they secured a valuable investment from Jesper Buch and Jacob Risgaard. Lumega proudly serves as the main supplier for all the building’s technical and decorative lighting.
Valby Nursing Home is a spacious and compassionate facility that provides outstanding care for individuals living with dementia. To ensure their well-being, we have implemented specialized lighting solutions tailored to their unique needs. For instance, we have incorporated ultra-narrow light beams in each toilet area. This strategic design element serves as a reliable guide, assisting them in navigating their way and finding the correct direction.
Lumega was the primary supplier, providing technical lighting solutions for both the waterworks and administrative areas. Our products boast an exceptional lifespan and offer superior light quality, meeting the stringent requirements of this project. In addition to thetechnical lighting, Lumega has also taken charge of supplying LED flashlights specifically designed and approved for hazardous EX areas. These flashlights serve as a safety measure in case of a power outage within the building.
CityHub sets itself apart as a high-tech hotel that seamlessly incorporates innovative lighting into its customer experience.
A complete lighting design, technical support on light controlling and main supply was all delivered by Lumega.
The Correctional Facility in Nuuk is featured in the popular Netflix series “World’s Toughest Prisons.” Spanning an impressive 8,400 square meters, this new facility accommodates up to 76 convicts. Its strategic location, just 7 kilometers away from the capital city of Nuuk, blesses it with breathtaking natural surroundings.
Notably, the facility boasts exceptional architectural design and, as a result, imposes stringent lighting requirements. Lumega provided all the luminaires to meet these demands. These fixtures were carefully chosen to withstand intentional vandalism and to ensure secure fastening. The resulting lighting installation is characterized by a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic. Even after 5 years of continuous use, all lighting solutions remain in pristine condition.
