Last weekend, Saturday Feb 29 and Sunday Mar 1, 2020, the Lumby Theatre Group was thrilled to perform their presentation of Rumpelstiltskin at the OAP Hall in Lumby. The group has been preparing for their presentation since Sept of 2019, and the cast and crew did a marvelous job. They are looking forward presenting more productions in the future, for the people of Lumby to enjoy. I am so glad this If anyone is interested in joining our group to work on produchappened! Such good energy! such creativity!...and such a range of ages involved... this was so exciting and the full house on Saturday showed that the village has a serious interest in the performing arts. It was a treat to see all the creative energy and smiling faces, and take pictures at the dress rehearsal of Rumpelstiltskin! The cast and crew have put together a quality, entertaining and colourful performance. It was light fun for the whole family and admission was by donation! Lumby’s Youngest Dancers Take Center Stage 30 of Lumby’s youngsters took to the stage on March 2 for the Toes and Tutus 3rd annual dance recital. Ranging in age from 2 to 10, dancers performed a number of

ballet and musical theatre routines to a full house at the White Valley Community Centre. Their hard work paid off and the show was a great success! Toes and Tutus are now working on performances for Lumby days. In the meantime, they are offering a fairy-themed
