Honouring Their Memory
Building a Commemorative Bench for Jean Latval and Elinor Turrill Lumby & District Health Services has partnered with Janet Green to bring acknowledgment, honour and appreciation to these two ladies. Within the past two years Lumby has lost two valued and dedicated volunteers. Jean passed away August 22, 2019 and Elinor passed away September 4, 2020. For thirty years they supported their community by serving on non-profit boards. They were not paid, but driven by dedication to make improvements to their community that mattered.
