FUNCTIONS PERFORMED It starts at developing initial design concepts based on client requirements and project constraints. These are shown on site analysis like physical characteristics, environmental conditions, and zoning regulations that may impact the design. Along comes the research like moodboards, materials, construction methods where sustainability is integrated with design principles and practices into projects. My favorite part is problem solving because of all the action implied in design challenges and unforeseen issues that may arise during the construction process. And at the end you end up building no only infraestructure burt also relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals to grow career opportunities. Therefore open and transparent communicaction with people like co workers or clients for me is crucial.

CASA ATARDECER 2022-2023 | 110 square meters CONSTRUCTED RESIDENCE When a client is passionate about sunsets, this creates the challenge of designing a house with a west view and a climatically efficient response. This personal project started with the idea of having the logic use to be an integration with the surrounding nature. Its long eaves, high roofs, and permeable surfaces
are what respond to natural ventilation and lighting to generate a pleasant sensation on a daily basis. The terrace has the double function of providing a long eaves and making use of the space to fully appreciate the beauty of the sunset. On each space is a feeling of feeling outdoors while being indoors.

MALAMUTE RESIDENTIAL 2023 | 10000 square meters RESIDENTIAL SITE CONCEPT A 10000 square meter site with a river along the way. This project is located in Tambor, Alajuela Costa Rica. The main goal with spaces here, was to have always the stunning view facing the river, having each lot around 500 square meter each with 200 square meter homes. Through its steep terrain the design of each homes was on pilars, this way, the construction would not be
as invasive as it was direct on the ground. Malamute has a Social Area for activities with rooms for barbecues, indoor games and a pool with natural water coming from a direct river source from underground streams. It also integrates paths to do hiking, a huge center tropical forest and spots to do meditation with the river as a background sound.

PARQUE TARRAZÚ 2021-2022 | 820 square meters DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED URBAN PROJECT // COLLABORATION WITH FELIPE RIVERA & JOSÉ JAVIER PERALTA International Organization Migration is an organization from the United Nations which seeks to mitigate social and migratory problems in different countries around the world. Costa Rica is no exception. We created a design in San Marcos Tarrazú in San José Costa Rica. This zone is recognized for its incredible coffee and the markets around it. 3
The city was in need of designated areas for cultural activities and it was the start of design development for the city. The park is the heart of the city, but in reality has little to no use whatsoever. The concept therefore is to create areas with specific purpose but also to have flexibility and diversity for activities.
