A Better Blackpool: The Revoe Review is a continuation of the work undertaken previously in Studio 2. The counterpart portfolio to this, Building a Better Blackpool, set out an initial strategic masterplan in which a wider view of Blackpool was considered. It set up a new tram network for Blackpool, completing vital connections to essential services such as the hospital, the airport and poorer areas of the town.
The Revoe Review builds upon this work by outlining our masterplan framework, identifying key opportunity areas and developing them in more detail. This portfolio will outline the new masterplan, landscape strategy, urban design proposals and materiality; including finer details such as street furniture, sustainable urban drainage systems and facade details.
