We moved to Failand with our young family in 2016, having spent several years living in Bishopston. Our primary motivation for moving was to find a larger property with off-street parking and sufficient outdoor space to allow us to have a dog. We welcomed a puppy into our family just 3 months after moving in!

Over the last few years, Failand has evolved into a really familyoriented place to live. There is a great sense of community spirit - the annual Halloween trail and Easter Egg hunts have been a particular hit with our kids! There is an active village hall with children’s playground, fantastic village store/coffee shop and a pub all within walking distance of the house.

Failand really does offer the best of both worlds; a semi-rural location with great walks on the doorstep (Abbots Pool, Ashton Court, Leigh Woods and Tyntesfield are just a few minutes away) but only a 10 minute drive away from vibrant Clifton Village. There are also 2 local golf courses and a gym/tennis facility in nearby Long Ashton.

It has been a real labour of love transforming The Willow into a high spec modern living space suited to family life and home-working. We’ve really enjoyed living here and will be very sad to say goodbye!’
