ACHIEVING PROSPERITY BY TRANSFORMING ONESELF
Day 1 Teambuilding Welcome to APTO! OPENING CEREMONY The session officially started with a morning Opening Ceremony. The leadership and the Event Safe Person had lovely inspiring speeches and after that we proceeded to the General Teambuilding. GENERAL TEAMBUILDING The organising team had prepared fun activities that helped the participants get to know each other and break the ice. We played a game of “two truths, one lie” in Zoom breakout rooms followed by an activity which raised the participants from their chairs. This game was sadly interrupted by some technical issues, but when they were successfully resolved, it was time for a break and Committee Teambuilding. COMMITTEE TEAMBUILDING As APTO started in the most beautiful way possible, it was time for the Delegates to get to know each other and where else than in Committee Teambuilding! What better way for everyone to have fun on the first day with some fun energizers! What we found out so far is that ANIT had the best dancers and ENVI II managed to have an amazing game of Gartic Phone!
EVENING ACTIVITY After a day of getting to know each other, the organisers have prepared a very enterteining evening activity for us. We used a site called https://gather.town/ which simulated the inside of a virtual building. Everyone created an avatar and you could walk around with it and talk to the people you pass (their camera and microphone would turn on when you passed them) and you could play fun games together such as a game similar to skribbl with guessing words the others are drawing!

We played 2 truths 1 lie, Speed dating and many more, but I think the most entertaining one for all of us was the Gartic phone. We had a really good time and we laughed a lot :))

We played speed dating, garctic phone, the tesla dilemma, hot air balloon game, and did just dance with EMPL. I‘m a bit exhausted but glad to see my delegates can connect and bond. the thing i enjoyed the most was their ideas for the committee flag and see what they came up with
DAY 2 COMMITTEE WO R K O F A PTO DAY 2 The day started bright and early with a very needed morning yoga session led by our lovely Organiser Sara. We started with some stretching and continued to more demanding physical activities. After feeling refreshed and ready for the day, it was time for the beginning of Committee Work. CW For the entire day, the Delegates and their Chairpersons worked tirelessly to create the first part of their resolution—the introductory clauses. Through sharing their knowledge of the topic, brainstorming and grouping ideas, the Delegates managed to create great ICs which will soon be completed
Jury Time
In the middle of Committee Work, the Jury team prepared a presentation introducing themselves and their role at the session. We learned what the Jury team’s task is, what they look for in Delegates and we also found out about the “poke me” concept, which means that Delegates can ask the jurors for feedback during the session. There was also time for a Q&A where Delegates had very good questions for the Jury.

How did you spend the second day of the session?
Gent (MTM)
The second day of APTO was quite chill for me. I joined my committee’s meeting and we played some energisers with the Vice Presidents. I also worked on my project called “Which APTO Official Are You?” and showed it to the delegates. They liked that they could engage with the project (quiz) and shared their results in the server.
INGE COMMITTEE WORK Fiona
Yesterday I woke up and started working on the session yearbook: sending out the form and collecting responses. Then I focused on a different project, where I also sent out a form and promoted it through discord. And every now and then I’d pop into my committee to take some pictures and do some energizers. But I think the peak of my day was watching Eurovision, watching all the entries and feeling extremely stressed during the voting. I went to bed pretty late because after Italy was declared winner, I still wanted to watch the press conference afterwards
JURY TIME
Evening activity
Saturday was Eurovision night so the Organisers prepared a kahoot about Eurovision 2021, after that a short music quiz where the participants had to guess the song that were playing, the songs were all past Eurovision winners, and then we just jammed to music and talked about our guesses for the winner. Later the Officials had an Eurovision watch party and watched the grand finale together heart
Sara Orga During the second day of APTO I got the chance to give some yoga lessons, and of course make the delegates and the officials feel exhausted after that. However the highlight of the second day would definitely be The Eurovision Finale, where I, as moderator, was also given a shoutout by our incredible jury! It was a really full-feeling day!
Duarte (PT) INGE The 2nd day was amazing. We came up with some really interesting ICs and we even were ahead of schedule so we got to know each other better! I’m really proud of what we have accomplished and how much we have grown as a committee :))
Day 3 CoMMITTEE WORK II Welcome to the third day of APTO! It was a very busy, yet wonderful day. Stay tuned as we send you through the day. MORNING ACTIVITY As always, the day started with a beautiful morning activity, so everyone could be prepared for the day, as it was the last day of Committee Work before the big GA day. The schedule was quite packed, but there were many surprises during the day. COMMITTEE WORK As it was the day before GA, Committees had to prepare and work hard to make their resolutions pass. The delegates had to find solutions, operative clauses, to their ICs. Today all Committees had the chance to talk with experts and learn more about their topic.
MOCK GA At the end of the day, the Officials did a mock GA which showed all the examples of what to do and what not to do and allowed for an educational yet fun experience. It had one good example of each role and one bad example. Everything was organized by the Officials, even the “speeches”. It was a fun highlight of the day. EVENING ACTIVITY As the busy day came to an end, a good night of Kahoot about Albania and hanging out for everyone to talk was the best way to end a very productive day.

EXPERT FOR THE EMPL COMMITTEE: MIMOZA AGOLLI
EXPERT FOR THE FEMM COMMITTEE: PROF. SUSANNE STRAND
Mrs. Agolli has worked as researcher and trade policy analyst at Albanian Center for International Trade (ACIT) focusing on quantitative oriented research on trade policies and their economic effect. She has paid special attention to exploring foreign trade developments and policy options to improve and support positive developments in Albanian International Trade flows. Furthermore, she has been research consultant for the evaluation and capacity assessment consultant for the Human Development Report 2008, UNDP.
Prof. Susanne Strand researches risks and risk management of violence in different contexts with the applied criminology as the academic base. Gender is one focus of the studies, meaning both women and men are studied from the perspectives of victims as well as perpetrators. Her research has shown that the use of structured professional judgements while assessing risk of violence is an effective method to use as part of the risk management.
EXPERT FOR THE INGE COMMITTEE: DR. ARDITA BUNA
Dr. Ardita Buna is a law lecturer at the Mediterranean university of Albania. She does research on European law, comparative constitutional law, human rights and immigrant rights. She is an attorney at law and a mediator.
DAY 4 GENERAL ASSEMBLY
GENERAL ASSEMBLY The moment the delegates were preparing for the past few days has finally come. In the General Assembly, which took place during the last day of the session, committees presented their resolutions that they worked very diligently on during committee work. We heard many emotional summation speeches, plenty of great arguments during open debate and postition speeches full of constructive criticism. Delegates had many good points and defended their resolutions well. Occasional music and magic tricks provided by the lovely VPs and President, who moderated the whole General Assembly, helped lighten up the mood.
CLOSING CEREMONY After the General Assembly it was time for the final part of the session programme, the Closing Ceremony. Our leadership gave beautiful emotional speeches. They talked about their own EYP journeys and didn‘t forget to mention and thank the Officials‘ teams as well as the Delegates. Finally, we listened to the European anthem and the unofficial EYP anthem - Imagine by John Lennon. After that the session has officially ended and with it the adventure we embarked on just a few days ago.
