It took me a bit to get there as a model because of my height of 193.5cm but I have always considered myself a very fighter person. I love modeling and posing. I have worked as a runway teacher for 3 years. have 3 national beauty pageant titles: Miss Intercontinental Spain 2010. - Miss Liberty Spain 2015.Miss Universe Spain for peace and humanity 2016.That for me these contests are to help me get to knowmyself in the world of fashion. Futurist French couturier Pierre Cardin dies at 98 Pierre Cardin, the avant-garde couturier renowned for his futurist style and for being a pioneer of ready-towear, died on the morning of 29 December at a hospital in Neuilly, France, at 98 years of age. He left as his legacy a business empire worth 525 million euros, according to French magazine Challenges, and consisting of hundreds of licences worldwide.

The French couturier was born in San Biagio di Callalta, near Venice, Italy, on 2nd July 1922. He quickly became one of the iconic figures of the 1960s fashion world, alongside Paco Rabanne and AndrÊ Courrèges, with his space-age-inspired collections. Through his visionary approach, Pierre Cardin was a pioneer of ready-to-wear fashion, and the first to develop his business through licensing, sometimes in sectors rather farremoved from the fashion industry, a choice which often aroused the scorn and criticism of his peers.Graphically shaped cuts, military epaulettes, skirts hanging from metallic tops, dresses with bubbles and hoops, pinafore dresses with porthole-style cuts, bright colours associated with silvery hues, they were all part of the Cardin style. Clothes that seemed to have landed on Earth from another galaxy, created by a designer intrigued by science fiction and cosmic travel. A world he eventually rubbed shoulders with, when in 1971 he became the first civilian to don a space suit, that of US astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

New York-based fashion brand Veronica Beard has announced that it will open its next store in Boston – its first location in the city – in mid-January 2021.

Located at 145 Newbury Street, the 1,000-square-foot store will offer visitors the full Veronica Beard ready-to-wear, denim and footwear collections, along with a curated selection of thirdparty products. Seeking to channel a bohemian aesthetic, the boutique will feature vintage artwork, rattan furniture, and fabrics in shades of blue and camel, including China Seas Antik Batik floral fabric and Lisa Fine patchwork, used on chairs and draperies.

Skims launches in the Middle EastKim Kardashian West’s Skims brand is set to launch in the Middle East for the first time.

Via an exclusive distribution deal with e-tailer Ounass, the shapewear and innerwear brand has become available to consumers in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi and the United Arab Emirates, as of this month. Kim Kardashian shared the details in her Instagram stories, where she noted a handpicked selection for the Middle Eastern market. Items span categories ranging from lingerie, loungewear, and sleepwear, to traditional shapewear. Ounass conveniently offers two-hour delivery to shoppers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The company also recently opened a warehouse in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is aiming for three-hour delivery in the country.Most recently, in October, Skims equally took up a new residence in England with a distribution agreement with Selfridges, marking the company’s first move outside of the U.S. Skims also recently launched via Canadian luxury brand Ssense, in addition to being available on Net-A-Porter, Nordstrom, and Skims.com.

GUCCI Gucci joins Alibaba's luxury e-commerce site to woo Chinese consumers Fashion label Gucci will open two flagship stores on Alibaba's online luxury shopping platform, underscoring the importance of the Chinese market for high-end brands seeking to reverse a revenue slide due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Gucci, the profit engine of French group Kering, is one of the most prized names to join the Tmall Luxury Pavilion platform, which was created in 2017 and now boasts more than 200 brands ranging from apparel to high-end cars.Gucci's first flagship store, selling fashion and leather goods collections, will open on Dec. 21, the two companies said in a joint statement on Friday.

A second store focused on beauty products will launch in February 2021 and will be operated by Gucci's license partner Coty.

Kontoor launches Wrangler in China with Tmall debutGreensboro, North Carolina-based denim group Kontoor Brands, Inc. has announced the expansion of its Wrangler brand to China, taking a digital-first approach to the move by launching an initial offering on local e-commerce giant Tmall.

The company’s Lee business is already one of the leading denim brands in China, and Kontoor intends to leverage its experience with the label in order to drive Wrangler’s growth on the Chinese market. For its launch in the country, Kontoor has “reimagined” Wrangler’s cowboy spirit, developing a brand platform that is designed to resonate with China’s youth. The arrival of the brand on Tmall was celebrated with an activation at Shanghai streetwear trade show Innersect.

Alexia Brancato: the beauty of intelligence Alexia Brancato, 24 years old, is a model from Genoa.
