Before discovering the beauty of the historic cities along the Danube on your one-week cruise, you have the optional opportunity to enjoy three days in the “golden city” of Prague. You can stay overnight at the luxurious 5-star “Le Palais” and absorb the capital of the Czech Republic by day.

You would then start your cruise in the historically important city of Nuremberg.

It follows the Rhine-Main-Danube canal to Passau, the city at the confluence of three rivers, from which you can make an excursion through the idyllic Salzkammergut region and visit the world-famous city of Salzburg, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born.

Just some of the highlights before your arrival in Budapest are a tour of the city of Linz, a visit to the abbey of Melk in the Wachau district, glittering Vienna with its fine buildings, and Bratislava, forming a corner between Austria, Hungary and Slovakia.

The AMADEUS SILVER, the first ship in the AMADEUS fleet to boast a length of 135m, has a total of 78 enlarged standard cabins (16m²) which, on the Mozart and Strauss decks, are equipped with a new, innovative type of French balcony: the panoramic window front, which extends the whole width of the cabin, can be automatically lowered and thus used as a balcony.

The 12 AMADEUS suites (24m²) also come with a functional outside balcony with table and chairs, a large panoramic window, and a comfortable bath with separate toilet and separate shower.

Particular highlights of the AMADEUS SILVER are the open air ‘River Terrace’ lounge in the bow of the ship, the spacious fitness room on two decks and the new Café Vienna with typical Austrian coffee specialities and Sachertorte.

S ILVER

new in April 2013

The AMADEUS SILVER, the first ship in the AMADEUS fleet to boast a length of 135m, has a total of 78 enlarged standard cabins (16m²) which, on the Mozart and Strauss decks, are equipped with a new, innovative type of French balcony: the panoramic window front, which extends the whole width of the cabin, can be automatically lowered and thus used as a balcony.

The 12 AMADEUS suites (24m²) also come with a functional outside balcony with table and chairs, a large panoramic window, and a comfortable bath with separate toilet and separate shower.

Particular highlights of the AMADEUS SILVER are the open air ‘River Terrace’ lounge in the bow of the ship, the spacious fitness room on two decks and the new Café Vienna with typical Austrian coffee specialities and Sachertorte.
