A tricky opening tee shot where hitting the fairway is important. Ideally the left side of the fairway will open up a tough approach shot. Club selection is vital as you approach the shallow green that slopes away from you.

Don’t go long.

Not a long par 4 but a blind tee shot and a left-to-right sloping fairway will make you work hard off the tee. The tall Poplar trees in the distance are the line. The approach is reasonably simple to a green that slopes towards you from back to front.

The easiest Par 3 on the course. A downhill approach that plays shorter than the yardage.

Anything short will bounce down to the green anything long will be in trouble.

A great short, risk/reward par 5. Another blind tee shot to a downhill fairway. The small telegraph pole in the distance is the line. Long hitters can get there in two, but anything short

A big par 3 over 200 yards and straight uphill.

Don’t be shy and take plenty of club. Par is a good score here.

Second of the Par 5’s that plays longer than the yardage. A wide fairway that favours hitting up the left to open up the second shot.

Hole 8 Lone oak tree in the fairway is a good target.

Approach shot to a raised green will punish anything short. The green is one of the toughest on the course. Leave your approach short and left of the flag for an uphill putt if you can.

A Solid Par 4 played up hill and plays all of its yardage. Avoid the two big trees off the tee and favour the right side of the fairway to avoid being blocked out. Another shallow green that also sits diagonally left to right with a tier in the middle of green.

Back to back Par 5’s and the easiest hole on the course. Not much trouble off the tee.

Avoid the large front bunker in front of the green and Par is very achievable on this hole.

A good par 4 to finish the front 9 with and back to the clubhouse. A semi-blind tee shot and another fairway that slopes left to right.

Pick the halfway house as your line off the tee.

A tough green that slopes away and to the right of the approach shot.

Yardage 494 · 486 · 466 / SI 13-13

A great par 5 to start the back 9. A slightly downhill par 5 that gradually sweeps to the left. Not much trouble off the tee but the hole narrows as you progress down the hole.

Avoid the pond with any layup and then a downhill green that slopes away from you awaits.

A par 3 with a 3-tier green that sits diagonally right to left. Club selection is key to get on the right level or a tough two putt awaits.

Hardest hole on the course. Pin point drive up the left side of the fairway is needed to avoid being blocked out for your second shot. Then a tough second shot to avoid the trees and ditch to a green guarded by a large bunker and slope to the left of the green. A relatively flat green awaits.

Arguably the best-looking par 3 on the course.

Catch your breath for a tough finish all the way up the hill back to the clubhouse. This par 5 requires a straight drive to avoid the large tree from the tee. Then two big shots to get to the green that again slopes away from you.

An intimidating tee shot with a large oak in the middle of the fairway. Right of it for a shorter approach but Out of Bounds will catch any stray shots. Left of the tree is the safe shot but leaves a longer second. Once the tree has been avoided an uphill approach to a large green is your reward. The large water hazard shouldn’t be ignored as a lapse in concentration has seen many balls scuttle to a watery end. A subtle sloping green that shouldn’t cause too many problems.

Tough Par 3 that requires a shot that must carry to the green or a watery grave awaits.

Once on the putting surface a sloping green requires your attention. Par is a great score.

7 Day Season Ticket The 7 Day Season Ticket entitles members to the full use of the clubhouse, 18 Hole golf course, Par 3 and practice facilities 7 days a week, 7 day membership can be upgraded to 7 day Sports Season Ticket including access to off site swimming and gym facilities.

5 Day Season / Senior Ticket The 5 Day Season Ticket entitles members to the full use of the clubhouse, 18 Hole golf course, Par 3 and Practice facilities Monday to Friday. 5 Day members receive discounted green fees at weekends subject to T’s & C’s.

5 Day Senior Season Ticket provides a reduced fee for anyone over the age of 60.

Using the GC2 HMT, we will be able to show you your carry and total distance numbers as well as launch and spin, all important factors when purchasing a new set of clubs. Ryan began his journey in golf from the age of 7, learning and developing his game at a number of golf courses. Ryan had been working within the golf industry for 18 months, when the opportunity came to join the professional team at Stevenage. At Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre we have a wide range of practice facilities, starting with our recently reinvented driving range.

We now have six power tee mats on the range as well as new mats in the remaining bays, with a practice bunker situated on the range which is perfect for practicing both greenside and fairway bunker shots.

Finally, if you are still looking to work on your short game we have our nine-hole par 3 course, with yardages ranging from 80 to 130 yards, it is the perfect facility to practice with a purpose, by putting it in a game format.

In addition to the range we also have a practice putting green which is ideal for practice or for use just before your round. We also have a completely separate pitching and chipping green to sharpen your short game.

Here at Stevenage we are proud to offer a fantastic 9-hole FootGolf Course.

Players are welcome to play the Par 3 Course from 8am, and we politely request that you wear golf apparel as well as trainers, golf shoes or Astroturf boots.

This is a relatively flat course, but don’t let that deceive you. There are plenty of mature trees and sand bunkers that add to the course diversity and challenge, requiring you to think ahead and plan your shots.

On site is a bar with Sports TV. There is also a restaurant serving a good range of dishes. Additional facilities include changing rooms and showers.

There is plenty of parking on site.

the parkland golf course provides a good test as well as a lovely environment for golf, we still ask that the etiquette, rules and regulations are met for all our visitors.

Green Fees vary depending on the season, week and day that you are playing.

The course format allows for single balls all the way up to four balls without any restrictions; all bookings made require a deposit to secure the tee time.
