Our Georgian mansion has a classic elegance all of its own. Set in an oasis of green and surrounding by beautiful countryside, it is the perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle and distractions of everyday business life and the perfect place to be creative and to focus on the intended message of the day.

There are two rooms which can be adapted to meet your needs depending on the size of your party.

The Large Board Room, which has superb views across the 9th and 18th holes, can seat 12 comfortably around a table.

There is also a large multi-use function room which is perfect for an AGM style meeting.

Ham Manor can offer free WiFi, electrical points for projectors and laptop chargers. If you require snacks, drinks or full restaurant service this can also be arranged to suit your needs.

Social Membership Ham Manor is rightly revered across Sussex for its exceptional golf course, but is also a hive of activity most days of the week.

Our members are very sociable and are eager to make the most of our 19th Century Manor House and its grounds.

The club is able to offer Social membership at a very reasonable price of approximately ÂŁ2 per week and this entitles you to make use of the club house facilities throughout the year.

We have a small, but very active social committee, who try to arrange events that will appeal to our members, both Golf and Social throughout the year. These can be formal or informal.

There are monthly Quiz nights with a Buffet meal, Theatre trips, Horse Racing at Goodwood, Events on the big screen including Last Night of the Proms, an outdoor Picnic Prom with live Tribute Bands, Murder Mystery evenings, the Club Captains annual dinner and New Years Eve party with live music.

We can also offer Croquet, table tennis, snooker and winter scrabble and have a very active and popular Bridge Club.

Social Sports Croquet Croquet is a game with a long history but in which there has been a recent resurgence of interest at all levels. Compared with Association Croquet it has simpler rules and is more interactive, as each turn is just a single stroke, but it requires the same or even greater accuracy of hitting and tactical awareness.

If you are interested in trying out this sport why not come along to the club and view the Croquet section on the general notice board. Alternatively come along and speak to Anne in the secretary’s office who will be happy to provide you with more information.

Snooker We can offer you a game of snooker in our lovely snooker room with three superb tables.

Snooker matches are arranged at various times and may be entered in either pairs or singles, or come along to our Snooker “Fun Nights”, or simply come along and play.

Bridge Rubber Bridge for members is played at Ham Manor twice a week. On Monday and Friday afternoons. We have a very pleasant bridge room and everyone is most welcome to our sessions, which are very relaxed and take place on a casual basis.

Dates for more organised bridge (i.e. Evening and Afternoon Duplicate, and Afternoon Chicago) are displayed under the Bridge Section of the general notice board, people wishing to play must add their names if they wish to take part in these events.

Winter Scrabble We have recently introduced Scrabble to Ham Manor in the winter months, October to March, for those members that wish to be involved in a social activity through the winter days.

The group currently meet once a fortnight on a Wednesday afternoon to play Scrabble and have tea.

How to Find Us Ham Manor Golf Club is situated on the south-west edge of Angmering in West Sussex, within easy reach from both the A27 and A259.

For satellite navigation purposes our postcode is BN16 4JE. Public transport The nearest railway station is Angmering, which is less than a mile, or a five-minute taxi ride away. Frequent trains run direct east to Brighton and west to Southampton along the South Coast mainline.

From the West (Southampton, Portsmouth etc.)

Follow the M27/A27 signposted Worthing. At Crossbush junction at Arundel, follow signs for Rustington travelling through Lyminster village. Cross level-crossing and at next roundabout take first exit. Continue to next roundabout (Body Shop) and take first exit. Continue along dual carriageway until next roundabout, go straight across (Rustington Golf Centre) and take small road on left signposted Ham Manor Golf Club.

Follow signs through private estate.

From the East (Brighton, Worthing etc) Follow the A27 until junction with A280. At exit follow signs for Rustington. Take dual carriageway to the A259 where at roundabout take last exit. Follow road across two roundabouts, pass large Sainsbury’s store on left-hand side and at next roundabout complete U-turn keeping to left-hand lane and take small road on left signposted Ham Manor Golf Club. Follow signs through private estate.
