序 縣長的話 澎湖縣縣長 民眾心中，是以為序。成果的展現，力行推動減塑日常化、環保生活化，愛惜環境從你我自身做起的觀念，能深植於的目標，逐一落實，並能交出成果。盒，這些獨步全國的政策，透過縣政府各局處的群策群力，把過去停留在想像、認為難以實踐成生活習慣。社區的全面參與，讓我們清除海廢垃圾量達到457公噸，把清除海廢藉由身體力行，逐步落實里，清除310公噸海廢。延續2019年至今(2020年)，累計動員28,529人次、舉辦308場淨灘，圾的產生，讓自己成為清除海廢的參與者。我們改變不了洋流走向，我們卻可以透過教育、宣導，透過彼此的力量串連，自我要求減少垃百年不腐的塑膠製品佔最大宗，如何維持海岸線的潔淨美麗，這是我們必須面對的問題。縱使澎湖四面環海，隨著洋流而來的海上廢棄物，逐漸佔據了我們最美麗的海岸線，其中又以2019年，澎湖96村里配合響應，我們一起在烈日下彎腰撿拾，總計清理海岸線長約220公我們更邀集縣內外燴業者，全面使用環保餐具，全縣750位老人餐盒全面改用不鏽鋼餐透過「無塑生活潔淨澎湖」的付梓，除了分享全縣不分公私的攜手努力成果，更企盼藉由話的長縣序4

Surrounded by ocean, the coastlines of Penghu are overwhelmed by marine debris drawn to the shores by ocean currents. With the majority been non-biodegradable plastics, maintaining a pristine coastline is a dilemma we must all face. Though we are unable to deter the currents, through education and advocacy, we can work together with self-discipline to reduce waste and participate in marine debris removals.

The promotion of the living with plastic-free Penghu initiative has not only accommodated shared actions between public and private sectors, but also aim to mainstream the concepts of plastic reduction and environmental protection into daily lives through the demonstration of positive outcomes.

By taking ambitious actions in 2019, all of the County's 96 villages participated to clean approximately 378 km of coastlines, equivalent to the length of Taiwan, removing 310 tonnes of marine wastes. In 2020, we have assembled a total of 28,529 individuals from all communities, performing 308 sessions of coastal clean-ups, with approximately 457 tonnes of marine wastes removed, as a result of integrating marine debris removal into our daily lives and habits.

Furthermore, we encourage catering services to adopt reusable tableware, replacing 750 lunchboxes to stainless-steel for elderly charity services. Through leading policies and collective efforts made by the County governments, improbable ideas have been realized with flying colours.

During the course, the lecturer shared her compassion for whales and dolphins, which lead to the decision to stay in Penghu and tackle marine debris problems. With complex emotions, she believes that more should be done to protect the planet that accommodated the evolution of whales and dolphins from dinosaurs. Instead, millions of years later, indigestible garbage and plastic products filled the stomach of their corpses, a cruel example of how human beings cause harm to other lives while pursuing convenience, and human will ultimately become victim of their lack of consideration and wilful consumptions.

On the 2nd of July 2020, the first meeting for accounting personnels from primary and secondary schools of the County was held to stimulate exchanges between the County government and schools. Starting from the 1st of August 2020, all receipts for the application of local education development fund payments may be kept by schools, in an attempt to enhance administrative efficiency through tiered responsibility, as well as reduce paper consumption and carbon emissions. The human resources survey and contact meeting was held in February 2020, with participants from local statistical survey networks reviewing common mistakes and precautions to be taken for surveys. In addition, plastic reduction policies was also advocated, participants were asked to maintain a pristine homeland and restore Penghu back to its beautiful landscapes.

As the autumn monsoon winds blows in Penghu, kites began to fill the blue skies, making Penghu's skyline and ocean more entertaining. In recent years, the County governments have exploited wind-related resources to integrate various unique and attractive activities into a cultural sport tourism industry. As a result, the Penghu International Kite Festival was introduced in 2020.

Starting from the 7th to 13th of September 2020, colourful kites dazzled the sky of Longmen Back Bay Beach, which attracted hundreds of kite masters from Taiwan participating various performances and competitions. The main focus of the event was a fish statue made from marine debris by the Longmen Community Development Association, complemented by a dragon-shaped kite, symbolizing the fish leap at dragon gate metaphor. The "2020 Love Sea Food - Gourmet Holiday in Penghu" catering consultation program promoted by the County government supported Pick Toast and Grassroots & Fruit for their adoption in environmental and plastic reduction concepts, such as unique reusable tableware that can be easily identified and returned by consumers for effective reuse.

Plastic reduction in local stores 51減塑行動局處共推|經濟成長

Pick Toast is one of the first stores in Penghu to provide environmental friendly containers for its food delivery and has been active in promoting environmental protection and awareness. Although these reusable lunch boxes are often unable to recycle and induce additional costs, they persist in reducing plastic products. In response to the demand, the County government designed and introduced dedicated logo for its reusable containers, as well as promotional video clips and QR code placed at various locations to attract consumers, in order to enhance the marketing image of Pick Toast, and ultimately establish a role model for other restaurants and stores in Penghu.

On the other hand, Grassroots & Fruit is also a local store that has been actively promoting environmental and plastic reduction visions by encouraging consumers to prepare their own food containers, but face difficulties as it is not straightforward to serve hot drinks to consumers who has not prepared their reusable bottles. In response to the challenge, dedicated thermo flask were designed for take-out drinks. In addition, a special brew with a warm unique taste was developed that utilize local ingredients.

In 2020, the Penghu County's financial and debt management was presented to the Ministry of Finance and heads of finance from other counties in Taiwan. After the promotion of the "Salute to the Sea" policy by Taiwan in 2019, the Penghu County Audit Office estimated that on average coastal cleanups are 14 times more efficient compared to traditional employments for every dollar spent on waste removal, with additional benefits on education and advocacy. According to the Coastal Clean-Up Adoption System developed by the EPA, 28.5km of coastlines are adoptable in Penghu, however by 2018, only 2km was adopted, which equates to a mere 7.02%. Monitored by the Penghu County Audit Office, the EPB has made further progress, stretching adopted beaches to 5.6km in 2019, an 3.6km increase compared to previous year, and mobilized 15,000 residents from 96 villages to participate in coastal cleanups, removing 300 tonnes of marine debris. As part of the pandemic prevention measures, participants were asked to bring their own reusable flasks and cups, wear masks and maintain social distancing in meetings to protect themselves and others. It is also worth noting the efforts made by visitors, who collaborated by wearing masks and bring reusable bottles, as joint actions in the fight against the pandemic and plastic usage.

Situated in the heart of the Magong City, the Plaza is five hectares wide, and was immediately reviewed after Magistrate Feng-Wei Lai took office, focusing on the lack of parent-child leisure facilities and plants in its original designs. The Department was instructed to take the Daan Forest Park at Taipei City as reference to incorporate inclusive designs and greening, creating a space that meet public demands.

The Environment Cavalry was established on the 3rd of January 2020, who patrol the streets on motorcycles wearing orange fluorescent vests, in their quest to clean surrounding environments.TheCavalry was formed from existing manpower to secure clean streets while also inspect for littering, any violations will be fined 6,000 TWD. Sanitation is one of the indicators to measure prosperity and citizen literacy of a city, and being a county that thrives on tourism, a clean environment is even more important for Penghu. Although positive feedbacks were received from tourists, Penghu still has a long way to go from the standards set by other countries such as Japan and Singapore.

The County asks everyone's support on the Environment Cavalry and urge drivers to slow down upon encounter. In addition, voluntary measures by residents and retailers are highly encouraged, as part of a joint effort towards a hygienic and pleasant environment.

Food waste recycling and reuse

Worship is a fundamental traditional culture in Taiwan, where temples serve as centres of belief, receiving exceptional public status. However, studies show that pollutants resulting from incense combustion and other activities pose a negative impact on health and the environment. To protect air quality, the County government has actively promoted various environmental worship measures in recent years, such as the introduction of environmental furnace, reduction of incense, number of furnace and combustion of joss paperThroughetc. the active cooperation and support of local temples, there are currently 10 temples in the county that have installed environmental furnaces. Therefore, the EPA has formulated a promotional plan that aims to reduce these problems through seven approaches, including reduction of single-use products from source, recycling, exhaust emission control, waste water treatment, low-carbon and energy efficient measures, environmental hygiene, and other appropriate measures, such as public facilities, pedestrian pathways and car-parking zones.

The Magong Commercial District is located around Zhongzheng Road, covering businesses including restaurants, specialty stores, convenience stores, hotels and handicraft stores, etc. In 2020, catering industries was encouraged to adopt reusable tableware, self-prepared container discount and exhaust emission control, and the EPB collaborated with 25 catering companies to introduce a 20 TWD discount for consumers with self-prepared containers, in the hope to reduce single-use plastic usage and persuade more environmental friendly habits for take-outs. hosted by Fisheries Department, Agriculture Committee of the Executive Yuan from the 3rd of June to 31st of October 2020, where professionals specialized in tourism, environment and fisheries were invited as anonymous reviewers to rank participants according to topics such as environmental sanity, hygiene, safety etc., using a ranking system similar to the Michelin Guide, as well as online questionnaires that were open to the public. A total of 30 ports have participated, including the Magong Harbour, which earned a two-star ranking. This evaluation recognized the government's effort on the maintenance of the Harbour, which asks residents and visiting tourists to be ethical and collaborate in sustaining the environmental hygiene, reduce bottled water usage and avoid littering, in the hope to become pro-ocean whilst maintain the quality of the beautiful view.

海域物種的多樣性。能修復和棲地資源豐育的目的，接下來也將放流銀塔鐘螺、白棘三列海膽等物種，來增加離島放流需求，故開始考量適合當地的棲地的物種進行施放，期待透過這樣的作業能夠達到生態功園，吸引上萬人次遊客慕名前來。率高及親近遊客等特性，成功吸引觀光客前來探索美麗的海底世界結合繽紛壯觀的珊瑚海洋花臺第一座可以寄信的海底郵筒，更有澎湖縣政府大力人工復育的珊瑚海洋花園，結合燕魚在留主食，喜親近潛水遊客魚，幼魚體態優美，體色帶金黃色，成魚常成群結隊於珊瑚礁斜坡活動，以浮游生物及藻類為能有顯著成效，充裕澎湖海洋漁業資源。虎井海域放流5,000尾石鯛種苗，主因石鯛本為虎井原生魚種，近年逐漸枯竭，期待本次放流為充裕澎湖海洋漁業資源，行政院農業委員會水產試驗所澎湖海洋生物研究中心，特別在水產種苗繁殖場放流燕魚14萬7,118尾，其中於鎖港杭灣放流燕魚5萬尾。燕魚為著名觀賞。鎖港杭灣為澎湖浮潛、水肺潛水、自由潛水等海上活動熱點，除有全澎湖海洋生物研究中心主任謝恆毅表示，像虎井這樣的一個離島，或七美及南方四島也有 放流石鯛與燕魚種苗 豐富海洋資源

Director Heng-Yi Xie from the Penghu Marine Biological Research Centre commented that, outlying islands such as Hujing, Qimei and the four islands of Southern Penghu will also require artificial releases, so the Centre has begun to consider suitable species for local habitat restorations, in the hope to enhance the impact of ecological restoration rehabilitation. The Station released 147,118 batfishes in total, with 50,000 released at the Hangwan Bay, Sogang Township, where the first underwater postbox in Taiwan is established, as well as being a hotspot for activities including snorkelling, scuba diving and free diving around coral reefs that were rehabilitated by the County government. Batfish is a popular type of ornamental fish, seedlings are golden in colour and the adult fishes swim in groups around coral reefs, feeding on plankton and algae, where divers can easily swim near them. The combined charisma of the coral reef and batfish successfully attracted tens of thousands tourists to this magnificent underwater garden.

To rehabilitate marine fisheries in Penghu, the Penghu Marine Biology Research Centre under the Fisheries Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, released 5,000 knifejaw seedlings near the Hujing Island, which is the natural habitat for these fishes that are plummeting in population in recent years, so the release was carried out with expectations of inducing positive effect on Penghu's marine resources.

Coastal cleanup in Penghu began in 2019, where governments, communities, schools, military and all other public/private organizations gather to carry out a total of 141 cleanup events with 17,317 participants, cleaned 220km of coastlines and removed 310 tonnes of marine debris. Coastal cleanup at the Longmen village

The coastline of Longmen Village stretches for 1.2km and is gradually restored. Volunteers separate marine debris into three categories, general waste was sent to treatment plants, PET bottles and aluminium cans are sold to recyclers, and buoys are crafted into decorations. Apart from Longmen, villages such as Shagang and Holiao have also joined the efforts of removing marine debris, and all communities are encouraged to take part to clean their own homeland. Chief Rui-Da Hong stated that the only thing required to carry on is a passion for the land. If Longmen can endure, so can others. Slow progress is still progress, the challenge is to keep going.

Shortly after Rui-Da Hong took office as the head of Longmen Village, he assembled more than 70 volunteers and dedicated to the removal of marine debris and waste to keep the community clean. Working two shifts a day at 8am and 4pm, continuous cleaning have managed to restore the coast that was polluted for a decade back to its pristine condition.

In the autumn cleanup event of 2020, a total of 1,400 participants removed 1.7 tonnes of recyclables, 200kg of driftwoods, 100kg of fishing net and gears, 1 tonnes of polystyrene, and 2.3 tonnes of general waste, which added up to an astonishing 5.3 tonnes of marine debris been collected. Even though marine debris will reappear in the winter, introduced by the north-east monsoon winds, everyone still worked hard to clean the beaches to restore their pristine state. The protection forests along the coastlines of Penghu was established when Taiwan was under Japanese colonial rule. Most are designed with public welfare functions such as wind, soil, sand and dust protection, and fishery protection, and nearby coasts would attract tourists. However, littering and marine debris have introduced excessive polystyrene, scrap fishing gears, plastic bottles and buoys to the beaches and adjacent forests.The Pingtung Forest District Office, who handles the environmental cleaning and maintenance of these forests, paid tribute to the oceans and participated in the adoption event and performed coastal cleanup during the World Cleanup Day in September, in order to raise public awareness on coastal protection, as well as reduction from source instead of cleanup. The event had around 200 participants and removed 819.5kg of waste.

World Sea Turtle Day is celebrated on the 16th June, which calls for awareness on the survival and conservation of sea turtles, a perfect time to pay tribute to this iconic marine creature.Penghu is one of the few breeding sites for green sea turtles in Taiwan, so the County government introduced the first national green sea turtle conservation area at Wangan Island since 1995 to avoid damage from human interferences, in the hope to protect their habitat and stimulate continuous reproduction.

The ECOCO recycling machines were first introduced by the EPB in the 2020 Penghu International Fireworks Festival, where credits can be earning by recycling, on par with environmental actions carried out in Europe. The National Fishermen's Day celebration event The celebration event of the National Fishermen's Day in 2020 was hosted by Penghu for the first time, responding to the county's no.1 status on coastal cleanup in Taiwan. Polystyrene is a common type of marine debris, their large mass and lack of recycle value have always troubled environmental agencies. It cost 10,000 TWD just to ship 28 packets (each with 500kg capacity) of polystyrene on the 26 tonnes truck, and 35 tonnes have already been shipped. Since polystyrene is a type of foamed plastic, only 5% material is reusable while the rest 95% is air, reduction at the source becomes crucial for the County.

The ocean is the Mother of Penghu, and children of Penghu are proud to be sons of the sea. The Education Department, who combined marine education with conservation works to greater effects, stated that Slow Fish is an international campaign that does not prohibit fishing, but attempts to bring together fish harvesters with consumers, through knowledge on the fishes to call on transitions that promote marine sustainability.

Director Chi-Chang Su of the Department added that, through understandings of fishes, eat locally and seasonally, learn to describe their stories and eat slowly, everyone can be passionate for the ocean. To promote this movement, the HuXi Elementary School was appointed to draft an educational guidebook on eating fishes, which Principal ChienHsun Cheng spent two years to produce by visiting harbours, ports and fishing market, sieving through 136 invertebrates and 294 fishes to pick 83 common and representative species, described in a clear and easy to understand way. This interesting guidebook is filled with lively pictures, covers in-season species, common names, capture techniques, sources, current status, local stories, proverbs, and purchase suggestions. This book has been distributed to all elementary and secondary school in the County, serving as the perfect supplementary material for marine education courses.

The County contributes to marine protections, with expectations that students can learn from daily lives through the new curriculum guidelines, in the hope that students can experience and respect the balance amongst environment, living organisms and human through this program.

The ocean is the origin of life on Earth, as marine debris induce a significant threat to ecosystems and environments, everyone must be mobilized to protect it together, and good habits on plastic reduction should always start at an early age. The Education Department established an inter-school marine debris artistic experience program, where elementary schools perform coastal cleanup nearby, and demonstrate the art pieces they produce from the materials collected during cleanup. The results were demonstrated at the Penghu Airport.

The program collaborated with the O2 lab, which lectures and guides students through cleanup activities, in the hope to raise their awareness on the importance of marine environment protection.

On the 21st of December 2020, the Heheng Elementary School became the first marine experimental elementary school, and the opening ceremony had participants including Magistrate Feng-Wei Lai, Speaker Zhao-Lin Liu Chen, Legislator Yao Yang, Councilor TienChin Li, Chief Yue-Li Hsu and Principle Wan-Chuan Yeh. This small school, situated in a rural area with only 40 students and 10 staffs, will emphasize seasonal marine thematic courses on top of regular curriculums. Magistrate Lai said that Heheng Elementary School is different from ordinary schools by introducing mixed-age classrooms, now with the addition of thematic marine education courses, has distinguished itself from traditional subject-specific teachings, prevailed in fostering self-directed learning in children, and successfully attracted students from other townships.

The exhibition and forum fostered communication, exchange and discussion amongst different stakeholders to enhance the momentum in developing ocean-related capacities, making suggestions on elite trainings, and share practical experiences on integrating marine topics into curriculum and teachings.

The National Marine Education Exhibition and Professional Training Forum took place at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Penghu on the 19th of August 2020, attracting 240 national elites on marine educations, as well as the attendance of Magistrate Feng-Wei Lai of Penghu County, Speaker Zhao-Lin Liu Chen of the County Council, and Political Deputy Minister of Education Ching-Hwa Tsai.

The exhibition lasted three days, with forum and sharing on the 1st day, experience courses during the 2nd day on various curriculum designed by schools of Penghu with dedicated themes such as geopark, marine culture, green sea turtle, seaweed restoration etc., and a joint exhibition with practical lessons on the 3rd day, where participants were invited to get involved in marine conservation. The event ended with wide recognition and praise from participating counties and cities.

The pristine water environment of Penghu is a result of a combined effort from everyone, and companies, villages, communities, school and other organizations are invited to join the action. Should anyone discover illegal disposal of wastewater, please report to 0800066-666 or the EPB service number 06-922-1778 for an immediate inspection onsite to protection the quality of surrounding environments.

In the 2020 National conference on the Evaluation of Water Environment Patrol, which was hosted by the EPA, the Penghu representative was the Fongguei Elementary School Patrol, who prepared decorations hand-crafted from marine debris and presented their works through video clips and lively commentaries, receiving unanimous recognition of all participating representatives.

The Patrol was established in 2008 with an emphasis on environmental conservation, education and pro-ocean activities. Apart from monthly coastal cleanup events, the teachers stressed education from source, and foster literacy of their students at an early age by hosting promotional events at sightseeing spots such as the Fongguei Cave and Snakehead Hill, and handicraft curriculum using marine debris, in the hope to stimulate the compassion within students to surrounding water environments.

The Marine Education Contribution Awards took place at the National Central Library on the 17th of November 2020, and Penghu County received awards in the category of local government, individual (Principal Tien-Wen Yeh and curriculum (the Wangan Elementary School and National Magong High School, collecting 4 out of 19 awards in the entire event, demonstrating the County’s dedication to marine education and is truly eye-catching.

By actively promoting 12 measures to revitalize the ocean, Magistrate Feng-Wei Lai has made significant contribution to the ocean after two years of restoration. Under a series actions carried out by the Magistrate himself, every school strive to promote marine education curriculum with unique characteristics, as well as a large variety of teaching materials. The County government earned the local government award for its achievement to effectively mobilize resources in promoting marine educations.

Receiving the Award is the highest achievement for those promoting marine education, presented by the Minister of Education Wen-Chung Pan. During the ceremony, the facilitator described the Award as been equivalent to the Golden Horse Awards, that Penghu would be the film which receives the most awards, and has therefore chosen Principal Ying-Chen Chen to give a speech on behalf of all award winners. It was an extraordinary feat that Penghu received awards all the way from the County government to elementary, secondary and high schools, demonstrating excellence over the past 12 years and was totally unique. These awards were also encouragements to the County towards further improvements.

According to the statistics, 16 billion plastic bags are used every year in Taiwan, which is two per capita per day on average, as well as 1.5 billion beverage cups and 4.5 billion PET bottles. These products are not truly reused in the recycling process, and introduce problems on waste treatments.

Plastic pollution is a global challenge, and large amount of plastic waste exert burden on the current treatment capacity. According to the estimates, the number of marine debris will exceed that of fishes, and the waste that were produced in daily lives may become the culprit. A study by the Plymouth Marine Laboratory indicated that plastics can be found in the digestion system of every sea turtle and 90% of sea birds.

Most problems that Penghu encountered are related to the ocean, one of them concerns submerged fishing nets, where the ocean become a duping site for fishing boats to throw away these these worn and unusable nets. In addition, fishing with bottom gillnets and drift gillnets were common practice, which easily tangle with coral reefs and must be cut loose. Therefore, seas around the County become filled with these submerged nets. These nets cover the coral reefs, resulting in bleaching and death, which affects the breeding habitats for fishes, therefore inducing subsequent reduction of fishes and habitat destruction. In the past, although the County strives to remove submerged nets, the efforts were limited due to a budget of a few hundred thousand Taiwanese dollars. To solve the ecological crisis, the Fisheries Agency supported the removal and coral inspection with a 38 million TWD subsidy, and the County government was able to expand the alliance with stakeholders including private industry, public sector, academics and research organizations. By mobilizing an integrated resource, removal can be carried out more effectively, in the hope to restore the coral reef ecosystem. The County government has identified hotspots for these nets, and removed submerged nets that measured 120,000m in length from March to September 2019, which is equivalent to a quarter of the combined coastline length of Penghu Islands.

The County government collaborated with National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology to eradicate submerged nets, with an expected removal of 180km within three years. In 2019, the numbers have already reached 120km, with an additional 60km in 2020, hence achieving the 3-year goal prior to the deadline. A team of divers and firefighter volunteers have helped in the process, while carrying out the Coralwatch initiative and inspect the health of coral reefs. The project will be expanded with a periodic schedule to cover regions identified recently.

To foster a breeding habitat for the visiting terns, the Agriculture and Fisheries Bureau carried out rehabilitation and cleanup from March 2020, removing 251 bags, approximately 13 tonnes of marine was paid to CEO Liang-Tian Wu of the Juhang tourism company for providing boats and equipment to assist in cleanup attempts to remove marine debris, driftwoods and other wastes. The Company has also promoted to help picking and transporting marine debris daily to maintain a pristine coast for terns to reside, to establish a win-win outcome, whist tourists will also be advised to not litter on the beaches and cause any disturbance to the terns.

A series of activities were carried out in 2020 including submarine and land fishing net removal, habitat restoration, caring for the injured and release of sea turtles, coastal cleanup and breeding encouragement measures. These approaches not only restore the ocean but provide improved conditions for sea turtle survival. The World Sea Turtle Day reminds people the importance of protecting the natural environment, as well as avoid interfering with the ecosystem balance through principles such as no-feeding, nointerference and nocontact.

It is the World Turtle Day on the 23rd of May and World Sea Turtle Day on the 16th of June, both aim to raise international awareness on the survival and conservation, and pay tribute to these magnificent creatures. Penghu is one of the few breeding sites for green sea turtles in Taiwan, so the County government introduced the first national green sea turtle conservation area at Wangan Island since 1995 to avoid damage from human interferences, in the hope to protect their habitat and stimulate continuous reproduction.

From now on, in the era of global warming, it is even more important to become an international benchmark in the protection of natural environments through mutual collaborations.

Taking action is difficult due to the lack of practical solutions, not how change is envisioned. I have always encouraged my colleagues to take the first step, starting from the ocean-revitalizing twelve measures, to other approaches including more frequent cleanup events with more participants, ban on bottled water during meetings and training activities, reduce 0.16 million PET bottles per year through fifteen water dispensers, and recycle 300 PET bottles daily using five ECOCO recycling machines installed in the County.

In addition, polystyrene removed from the coast consist of impurities and salt, which put off recyclers. By collaborating with high-tech companies, these hazardous materials were transformed to recycled plastics and used to produce durable keyboards and mouses. This is how beneficial solutions can be intoroduced. As the County government took the initiative, many others will follow. For example, catering services stopped using plastic tablecloths, containers as well as single-use chopsticks, and beverage stores introduced discounts for self-prepared cups.
