LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Summer is finally here! It is my favorite season because I get to swim more and wear comfortable colorful dresses!

In this issue we featured some gorgeous jewelry brands and summer wear, just to give you a little inspiration.

We would like to thank everyone who submitted for this issue, we got a

new record of submissions. I guess summer does inspire everyone to shoot more and be creative. There were so many incredible editorials to choose from.. it was tough!

Spring/Summer 2016 Collection “Luminous” Angelys Balek latest foray for Spring/ Summer 2016 “Luminous” was inspired by the summer still life. The still life art by Picasso allowed Angelys to depict free form drawing in her own way. Her interpretation of colors at the end of Picasso’s “Blue period” depicts an air of despair; depression and poverty which helped bridge Angelys’s art towards a beginning of a more joyful, vibrant red and pink “Rose period”. The color from the shift in periods was reflective in her mood and emotion as she felt a greater feeling of rejuvenation and restoration in part of her life.

The prints integrate art and design as well as a touch of contrast to bring out the dimensions in the print. It showed a perfect balance between feminine and masculine, seen through the feminine bright colors and flowery prints balanced with more boyish and boxy cuts. Bright pink and blue can be seen in almost every piece throughout the collection and these are the two colors that are featured as solid pieces without prints within the collection. Stretch Viscose and Silk Viscose are major fabrics in the collections, allowing styles to fit nicely and comfortably while still being light enough for the warmer weather.
